Been looking for a small mount for pocket 3 but need cold shoe to allow clips on side ways. These assume mics with regular mount. so cold show that could face away to someone infront of camera or vlog style. These are great and my search brought me here.

@chris-li6om they are all the same magnetic strength. Only the design and microsuede inner lining are what sets the website apart from Etsy. The Etsy stock are of an older yet great design.

Not sure if helpful to you or not, but you lost me at 3:40 when you said you never use the normal strength. I was about to order it (already on Etsy), but then heard you say that and couldn't help but think: "why didn't he just make one version that is strong enough". I don't like the idea of buying the 'expensive' version of something that should be good enough in the 'normal' version for some reason. Just thought I'd share my honest opinion with you. ✌🏻

That’s great feedback. I should have worded that differently. Many people do just order the normal version with no issues and is definitely strong enough. Strong will just inherently stick better

great job as that was the one accessory I couldn't believe Dji didn't make but would recommend you change the naming of your products, all the renewals can't be called new, just like the pocket theres the original then the 1st update is the pocket 2 and now 3, just be easier for people to e sure they are nut the right model ps my opinion but when I get my P3 I'll defiantly place my order 👊🏻

Why is it $50? It's similar stuff on Amazon that is $15 and less that you can swivel all around with multiple cold shoes instead of 1.

Those mass produced in China which help keep the cost down. My case has 2 cold shoes, ultrasuede inner lining, magnetic ND filter holder, a whole ecosystem of accessories, and works with the original DJI cover unlike all the other cheap ones.

If you need another idea for an accessory : I definetly need something to do overhead shot video when I’m traveling. I draw and I really struggle to record myself when I’m drawing on a table. For now my setup is the mini tripod included in the creator kit and a insta360 tripod + a GoPro mount case on the back of my Dji that’d allow me to incline the camera. But it’s not perfect. If you have a better idea I would love to buy it :D

New Feature Requests for the New DJI OSMO Pocket 3 1. Add a dwelling time for each of up to four settable movement positions in Motion Time-Lapse Mode. As each of the four settable positions programmed into a motion time-lapse sequence is reached, the end user could set from 1 to 10 seconds of a pause in gimbal movement as each programmed position is reached during the sequence before the gimbal moves forward to the next programmed position. This would yield a much more dynamic and professional looking, smoother motion time-lapse sequence. 2. In Motion Time-Lapse Mode the ability to set movement ease in and ease out settings from 0.5 to 3 seconds for each programmable gimbal position before gimbal movement normal progression rate is reached. 3. True 24.00p filming speed. 4. The ability to set time-lapse sequences based on 24.00p. 5. The ability to be able to record from the DJI Mic 2 and from a plugged in via USB audio source at the same time. 6. Adding a 10 Bit 4:2:2 recordable video codec. 7. Please add zoom capability when shooting in all time-lapse modes.

Could I use this on my backpack strap for when I’m walking around? Will it be sturdy & strong enough if a magnet is on the other side of the strap?

That might not be the best way. I sell magnetic attachments that you can mount on current backpack strap accessories. My mag attachments come with locking rings so you can decide wether to lock it on or have it easily remove and attach to the backpack strap accessory

I thought about that and that’s why i designed it with a cup magnet design so all the magnetism is in one direction - away from the pocket 3 :)

No it kinda does but I would trust it unfortunately. Idid make a 1/4-20 mounting attachment to put on a suction cup for this reason

My man Zoss! Is it possible to make a magnetic pendant?! Similar to the Insta360 go2/3 should be super simple!! But with the strength of your magnet with the one I have would be a game changer!!! Rather than doing a chest mount this pendant is more hassle and hands free! I imagine it could be easy to make, just a necklace with a circular 3d printed base with a metal plate inserted inside? Thats one of the huge benefits of the go 2/3 that people love and you right there could change the pocket 3 game with that!!!

it is possible! I just teased something like that yesterday on my patreon! It wouldn't be too hard to add a lanyard or necklace loop to it. Unlike the insta360 go, the osmo is huge haha and is kinda top heavy. It would almost need a new case to have the magnet closer towards the top of the osmo. BUT I'll give it a go and see what happens :)

I would gladly buy one bro’ that’s one of the reasons I choose those cameras over my DJIs or other similar cameras because I can just attach and detach quick and conveniently! Plus I’m always at the theme parks lol so making it hands free for me vs having attachments or other annoyances would be awesome!! Shoot if you can make it happen brother, let me know!! Yes at this time, but I'm currently working on a way to fit cold shoes on the compact version. It's pretty tight, but nothing is impossible.
