Summary(Important Notes) of The Stories of The Prophets- 14. The Story of Adam (Pt. 2) - The Stages of Adam’s Creation In reality, water and sand are the two main ingredients. Allah created Adam(AS) through a process, this is shown by the word “مسنون”(went through multiple stages). The majority of the details of this process are not known to us. But several of them are mentioned in the Hadith traditions. The Prophet(SAW) said: “Allah created Adam from تراب (dust/sand), then from تراب to طين (wet sand - clay). Then He left him until he was حَمَإٍ مَسْنُونٍ (in the end stage of dried clay). Then He created him and shaped him and then He left him until he was صلصال كالفخار (potter’s clay). Iblees would pass by him and he realized that he has been created for something very great. Then Allah blew the روح (soul) into Adam. The first organs the روح (soul) swam through were the eyes and the nose. When it reached the nose of Adam, it tickled his nose and Adam sneezed. Allah gave him the inner notion of praising Him so Adam said “الحمد لله” (All praises and thanks are for Allah). Then Allah responded to Adam “يرحمك الله يا آدم” (May Allah have mercy on you O Adam). ” This Hadith clearly shows that there were stages in the creation of Adam(AS) and that the روح (soul) was blown only after the body had been created. Both of these points are also clear in many Ayahs of the Qur’an. Some scholars also say that there is an Ayah in the Qur’an(Surah Insan, Ayah 1) which says there is a time frame between the creation of the body and the blowing in of the روح (soul). Allah shaped Adam(AS) and created him(AS) with His two hands. The Qur’an is explicit in this - Surah As-Saad, Ayah 75. This point is also mentioned in authentic Hadiths - the Hadith of Shifa’ah, the Hadith where Musa(AS) meets Adam(AS) in Barzakh, Hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah. Ibn Umar said: “Allah created 4 things with His hands - Adam, the pen, the throne, and the highest level of Jannah.” The controversy of Allah having hands and how the hands exist and how can we think about them is advanced and has existed since the beginning of controversies of Islam. There are two main groups - the Athari group (who believe Allah has hands but we don’t think about how He did it) and the Kalaam group (who believe that the hands are metaphorical). The bottom line is that Adam(AS) was created honorably. Another controversy is whether Allah has created Adam(AS) for a higher purpose or wisdom. The Athari school affirms this but the A’shari school says that using these types of terminologies is like diminishing the power of Allah. The A’shari school says that Allah created Adam(AS) because He just does as He pleases. They say such terms should not be used because it makes it seem like “Allah has to do something for something” which is beneath His Honor and Power. The Athari school believes that Allah has created the creation for wisdom and that this wisdom is known to us. They use Ayahs like “We did not create the heavens and the Earth in vain.” to show that there is wisdom in Allah’s creation. Some of the wisdom of why Allah created humans - 1. In the Qur’an - Surah Adh-Dhariyat, Ayah 56 (to worship Allah); Surah At-Talaq, Ayah 12 (to recognize the power and knowledge of Allah). But Allah doesn’t need any of this, He is Al-Ghani. 2. Ibn Qaym says: “Of the wisdom of why Allah created the creation of Human beings is that a sin-committing creation manifests certain names and attributes in a way that a perfect creation who is sinless will not manifest.” 3. Some scholars also say that another wisdom for the creation of humans is to show the diversity in Allah’s creations. 4. Allah wanted to reward the righteous and punish the evil people. True reward and punishment cannot happen unless there is good and sin. The angels don’t have this since they can’t disobey. Humans obey and disobey. 5. Allah wanted to appoint a “Khalifah” on Earth. What is the wisdom behind creating all humans from one source/origin? This common origin is mentioned multiple times in the Qur’an. Some points of this wisdom are: 1. To demonstrate the miracle of life and creation - Despite having one origin, every single human being is different. 2. To eliminate all aspects of pride in things we cannot control - For example, Birthplace, tribe, color, race, etc. Islam explicitly prohibits pride and racism. The Prophet(SAW) even linked eliminating racism to this common origin in a Hadith - “There is no superiority of an Arab over a Non-Arab or white over a black except with TAQWA (God-consciousness). All of you are from Adam(AS).” In the farewell Hajj speech, he(SAW) beautifully said: “Allah has gotten rid from you the fanaticism of ignorant times. All of you are from Adam and Adam is from dust.” 3. To feel genuine solidarity and sympathy for all of mankind - The Brotherhood of Humanity is something that can be derived from the Qur’an and Sunnah. One example in the Seerah goes like this: In the early phase of Madinah, out of respect, people would stand when a funeral passed by. This was done, generally, for Muslims and abrogated later. Once a Jewish funeral went by and the Prophet(SAW) stood up. The Sahabas too then stood up, then one of them said, “Ya Rasoolullah, this is a Jewish funeral.” The Prophet(SAW) responded, “Was he not also a human?” Imam An-Nawawi comments on the Hadith, saying that it demonstrates the brotherhood of all of humanity. This ends the entire summary. Anyone who thinks I have missed some point is welcome to reply but please give the time in the lecture when Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi talked about it so that I can be sure. JazakaAllah Khair

22:52 Allah is Al Hakeem so by default, all of His decisions are wise, and an exercise of His Wisdom. As His Wisdom is absolute, we are not in a position being finite creatures to understand it. Additionally, it is not a necessity of our obligation to worship Allah to question His Wisdom in doing things. I am amazed that people should even do so. For someone to claim that there is no wisdom behind Allah's decree is to state that Allah is not Wise and I am shocked that someone dare come out and make such a statement. What I would state is that we have not been told whether or not Allah does things for a specific wisdom and therefore we should remain silent on this issue. Spurious questions such as these are asked by people who have too much time on their hands in my opinion, which smacks of a lack of wisdom in the first place; and asking a useless question is a sign of that for sure. No need for "the people of truth" to espouse an opinion: rather what they should have replied is that this is a useless question. The Wisdom that Allah does things for is primarily Himself as He is The Most Wise and that should be enough for everyone to understand (or: He does things because He does things and all of His actions are the Wisest actions).

These medias were silent when Rohingays were brutally being killed slowly, 1 st they cut one hand then other then beheaded with saw!pregnant women were slashed their abdomen to remove womb. For the sake of debate if u suppose they r killing ppl(though not recklessly) but not as brutally as they did, they r ordering the girls not to go school but at least they r not raping them or slashing pregnant women abdomen. That time they were enjoying to watch Muslims were being killed now there is flooding sympathy, what a hypocrisy!
