Happy 5 years to the Stories of War Mini-Series.
To celebrate 5 years of this infamous mini-series, I wanted to do something special for it and that something special being an actual Custom DVD of this. Thanks to many users within a group chat, I've seen them used a program called DVDStyler to make their own custom DVDs and it fully works! Their creativity got me inspired to make my own too. I decided to pick upon The Stories of War mini-series because it's 5 episodes that's just over two hours in total and I felt like it would work as a full on movie.
Putting this into a DVD format on the program was really stressful though. At first, I had the seperate files of each episodes but they weren't chaptering up properly. That was until I had to edit the episodes into one big video in order for it to fully work. I did so by taking each episode and taking out the disclaimer and the main intro in episode 2 to 5 due to me wanting it to look like a genuine movie. I did had some assistance from Victor Tanzig himself with the intro sequence by re-recording two shots (the panning in the field and the panning of the passengers on the platform) so that I could change the text up to say that this is a WW2 movie and that it didn't had any of the episode names, just that it was written and directed by Victor.
Yes, the quality is in 720p only. That's just so I can lower the amount of GBs this was going to take to re-render together (in 1080p, this was 10GBs). And no disclaimer at the beginning because from my experience, they only include disclaimers on the box of the DVD.
Back to the custom DVD,, I will mention that I didn't managed to get it on a blank duel-layered DVD with its own DVD casing. That's just due to cost reasons and my computer. My computer doesn't have a lot of USB space, only 1 at the front, which means I would've had to order a USB Port and for cost, I would had to order a External DVD Drive, Duel-Layer blank DVDs and a DVD Case. It's honestly not worth it for me to order those for me making one single DVD so I decided to scrap that personal project fully and just keep the ISO file on me.

Yes and the craziest part is that Thomas was killed off The saddest thing ever to happen in The Stories of Sodor To quote the engine himself from Sodor Retold "It was horrifying" BTW many of the deaths in Season 5 parallel a death here Geoffrey's death parallels Colin's (both unknowingly saved others, both were pulling a train of vans when they died, both engines were painted red, both sets of crews were killed as well) Peter's death parallels Alfred's (both their last trains were a train they wouldn't normally pull, both turned the tables on an attempted insult just before they died, both had their third speaking role in the episode where they died, both died seemingly before they could complete their arcs) Mr. Zorro's obviously parallels Mr. Starr's, Micky's death parallels Lily's (both sacrificed themselves to save another engine, both death scenes involved somebody close to Douglas, both left a sole surviver) Heck even the mongral Benson for Jefferies

I kinda wish Victor did something with German locomotives and resistance movements in occupied territories. Say when that concentration camp was liberated, it had a special facility for non-faceless engine experimentation, adding a whole another dimension to the series. Maybe a German engine who heads straight towards Allied lines with a train of POW’s and is a German resistance fighter. It just feels kinda surface level

No. Mainly because I only wanted to focus on Stories of War since we're past 5 years of it and it also takes up a lot of Gigabytes on my computer too. The only other thing I could do is SCPs of Sodor but I don't really want to because watching that series, it doesn't give me a movie feel at all compared to Stories of War.
