I am not sure why this video resonates with me over all the other stories. They are all unique. But what I can say is how humbling it is to see and honor a group of everyday folks that banned together under serious stress to successfully save unforeseen casualties and give the ultimate sacrifice to protect total strangers . Words can't describe it. If Mr. Todd Beamer's father ever reads these comments, I am truly humbled sir and thank you for your son's sacrifice. May God continue to give you peace and thank you.

A lot of heroes that day and the days following. And those on Flight 93 stand out among the many heroes. They said that we are going to protect others at the potential cost of our own lives. That's what heroes do, and that's what they did, and did successfully. And I have to say that it breaks my heart and angers me that there are still those who believe that the Todd Beamers weren't on those flights. We all know the truth, and let's make sure we honor their memories.

She seemed like such a beautiful person. I love the Hallmark going out of business with her passing comment. I don't like being in any situation where I don't have an option to escape from, so, obviously, I'm not a fan of flying. I can't begin to imagine what the passengers and crew of the 9/11 flights were thinking. This is one of the things that makes the flight 93 "Let's roll" crew so amazingly heroic. They not only kept their heads together long enough to devise a plan, they successfully executed that plan, despite realizing they were going to die. May all who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks rest in peace.

Ok, as an American born Christian, I have to inform you that you're wrong. The people who carried out the attacks on 9/11 were 'extremists', which means they believe that their religion is the best and anyone who isn't a Muslim should be killed. Their actions are despicable in the eyes of Allah (their word for God), and I hope they burn in hell with the knowing that they have tainted their people's reputation. Think of the people who abuse others with religion, they may be 'religious' but they are not a person of god, and only being a person of god will save you. If you need more info, go watch NinjaMommy or MehlindaTV on youtube, they explain their religion better than I ever could and they are role models for how Muslims should act. Have a good day.

Yeah, they said nothing big was left, but there were small items. There’s a Flight 93 Memorial and Museum at the crash site. There are items from the plane; like spoons, forks. I found myself wishing today that I could go see it. It seems our government has forgotten about everything from this day.
@Meyzen763 жыл бұрын
Really? You can’t figure out that actual physical items were at the crash site? Two problems with your comment are “I” and “thought”. When they say “debris field”, they mean recognizable pieces, such as plane parts that are large enough to determine by eye. Things didn’t just evaporate.

I chide myself into believing from time to time that I am a wordsmith because I like to write. I write anything from smart ass comments to published short stories. So maybe it is not odd that I dislike it when words are misused. Today you hear the word hero used for all kinds of things like the truck driver who got that load of concrete to the building site on time despite terrible traffic problems. Or the people who got all the Target shelves stocked in time for the grand opening of a new store. They are not heroes at all, of course the may deserve some small degree of appreciation for jobs well done, but not to be called a hero. Those guys on Flight 93 and people like them can truly be called heroes, they are few but all are memorable. He will forever be remembered for the phrase, "Let's roll" as well he should be.
