I feel like most of the people who make jokes about 9/11 are the kids who were either too young or weren't alive for the event. Anyone who watched this unfold LIVE wouldn't be so insensitive. I was only in middle school but I remember the news coverage like it was yesterday. That shit was horrifying. Then growing up during the war, and having friends die serving over seas. I don't find those jokes funny. In fact those jokes aren't funny. She was one of the members of the 9/11 Family Steering Committee for the 9/11 Commission. Eckert's husband, Sean Rooney, died at age 50 in the attacks of September 11, 2001.
