Just popping in to say I first heard this cover around 10 years ago, and I still consider it the gold standard I compare other versions of Song of Storms to. The variations on the theme feel natural, like they were always meant to be part of the piece. The original Song of Storms is like a windmill, "round and round," but this version takes me on a journey. It's no longer just "round and round," but also under and over and twisting and turning in beautiful ways. Masterful work, my good sir

Ok so about 1 and a half a year ago I listened to this song at the age of 11 and thought this was the absolute best thing ever and so I started looking for videos online to play it and learned it and slowly studied more piano songs and talked to people and was suddenly fascinated with music.. and all I have done in the spare time I have had I mean I gave up my notsobad addiction to video games to study music and teach myself things from theory to how to read notes and what things mean...and I saw this video in my watch it again list and saw the sheet music and played it and it have me a flashback of my past 2 years of my life and how far I've come from spending 4-5 hours on video games to piano every day and it really touched me that this song is what inspired me and how it's so beautiful..let me say you have litterally changed my life good sir props to you.my life actually means something

It made it seem as if the rain was pouring outside with big rain drops dripping from the roof. And then oh my- the lower octaves picking up like a roar of thunder crashing down to the earth. The calms before the storm and then the pick ups with the harmony was so gorgeous. Well done my friend. You have pleased both my theoretical and nerdy ears.

Press Play and Listen. This song... this fantasy world accessible through a classic video game that once represented a dimensional breakthrough... these....memories... who united me and my older brothers on the best adventure to the only present of our long lost childhood... I want to go back 7 years so, so much... life is a bitch, although nostalgia makes me come back every now and then... It keeps my dream alive, the new and old combined, suspended in time, the dream that no age or life will stop me from introducing my younger brothers to this legacy when they mature enough to fully indulge in such heart piece... I will play with them throughout every single dungeon of OOT and MM... I will keep the magic flowing in a bottle... and hopefully their childhood will be the most memorable on a single point in time, with my image engraved on these notes, whenever they hear it, for the rest of their lives... and when they grow up, they will feel Inspired to do the same, just as I am, and The Legend Of Zelda shall indeed survive, from the first branch of a single family with one console and one game, to the endless branches of our offspring *................... ....* *.................... ...*

@@cjg8763 no way, that's so cool!!!! I freaking love Music Appreciation, but not many people are into it, Is love to make a channel that's just that "Discussions about Music: Studies in Music Appreciation" something like that.

I love this. While musically declined I have always found myself attracted to the sound of the piano. And the nostalgia that comes with this is amazing. It has even inspired me to learn to play it myself. Having never touched a piano or read sheet music before I quickly gained an enormous amount of respect for this. After a couple of years I'm still trying to play it by ear. But great job and great choice of music!

This is amazing, but try listening to the midi backwards. It sounds really cool. You can flip midis both horizontally with a program called MusicMirror. Oh, and by the way, you should remix the Stone Tower Temple theme.

I'm feeling cursed, 90's kid and i've never owned a N64 Never played ocarina of time , majora's mask Listening to this is nice but ... i don't get any feeling or goosebumps nor nostalgia Reading those comments and how this made everyone remember their peaceful childhood memories made me sad and .. kinda jealous Lucky you guys

Nice arrangement. I like when artists leave the traditional melodies and chord progressions. I'll sub in hope of future arrangements!
