Watching this made me extremely sad.😭 My Dad died because of a pituitary tumor. He was NOT supposed to though. It made his vision blurry, he was hallucinating. I was terrified that he was getting Alzheimer's at only 67. He finally found out he had a golfball sized, non-cancerous, slow-growing pituitary tumor. The kind of tumor that isn't life threatening & is usually EASY to remove. He had his 1st surgery, through his nasal cavity, to remove the tumor. It was a failure due to the sticky tumor growing around everything & it was too difficult to get it all. A month later, bi-frontal craniotomy. We were told it was a success. They were just waiting for his brain to recover from the surgery, & for him to wake up. Weeks passed, & he never fully woke up. He would sit up, talk, then lay back & be out of it again. I grilled the doctors. They couldn't figure out WHY he wasn't ok. Weeks passed, & I clung to hope, since he was supposed to be FINE. HE DIED OVER A MONTH LATER. Nobody knows why. His doctors were actually crying. I have felt dead since July 20th, 2012. He didn't recover, & I don't think I will either after 7 years of trying. It's SO much worse when you aren't prepared. God help me, & anyone else going through this. It is Hell on Earth. 💔💔💔

Are you sure there isn’t more to this story? Acromegaly people are not necessarily tall- they have abnormally large feet, skull, maybe jaw, broad hands. Just trying to clarify.

He was bed-bound, his spinal pain was too much. As someone with scoliosis, I can’t even imagine his pain.
