I know this is a video about Faker, but I just want to vent a bit. I remember distinctly Cannas worlds performance against Dk while in T1... The way that man was getting caught out of position made me say to brother ( who i watch worlds with) " he is getting dropped after this" I knew immediately he would not be part of the team anymore because he basically single handedly cost them a spot in the finals with him getting caught out the whole time by Showmaker. I chalked it up to inexperience and assumed he would get better playing around his team. fast-forward 2024 he is now with KC, and man when I tell you the man is doing the same shit but doesn't get punished as harsh as it would it in the LCK. Its mind numbing to watch him, That game vs BDS recently gave me PTSD of the worlds semi vs Dk 2021. Sad to see he hasn't improved much since then, from being one of youngest players to win their first split in their LCK debut and being a toplane powerhouse in the LCK ( for a brief moment) to the stagnant player he is now that cant even dominate LEC toplaners. shame. anyways vent over. Notice that back in Faker's prime, in his old highlights he didn't show any emotion or he kinda shrugged it off even after he just casually executed the most impressive and insane plays in pro League history. It's seems like for him it's just a normal moment and nothing to be proud about. In recent years, after every time he pulled off some miracle plays, you can see him now showing subtle reaction like he smiles or giggles like a rookie player. Like "wtf I can do that". That difference gives me the impression that he, himself knew that his game performances weren't the same anymore compare to his prime. Tho the gap wasn't that too big. Sure he can still make some sick plays but he knew exactly his performance is declining and on a downward trend. Some may argue that the only reason for that is "he just can't play the meta now" but meta is irrelevant if talking about Faker. He has the biggest champ pool for a reason. Prime Faker was the meta, but now he's just a meta-slave and just relying only on his game instinct, with less efficiency and accuracy, just making gambles left and right expecting he can still wins. Anyways, I'm hoping that he finds the way back and remember that he once became the "Faker". Sorry for my broken english.
