Luna isn't weird, she only lives her live her own way and didn't try to be like the others, she is honestly, smart and loyal. She is friendly to everyone, also to the one who other people ignores (like outsider, house-elves and every magical creature) I would be happy to have a friend like her

Good video in showing the life of Luna even including her life after Hogwarts. Luna could probably see auroras which caused her to be able to identify Harry at Bill's wedding while in disguise as a Weasley cousin and even under the invisibility cloak. She was also perceptive about people and she did get to have a career where she could go off and search for different magical creatures. Though after Crimes of Grindelwald and after watching the first Fantastic Beasts film it isn't too clear if Rolf Scamander is Newt's biological or adopted grandson. In the first Fantastic Beasts film there is a line that could foreshadow that he does have an adopted grandson who grows up to be an American Quidditch player. Quentin Kowalski could be Rolf's brother or cousin depending on who their father would be. Luna seems to be a mixture of both Newt and Queenie which could have attracted Rolf to her since he would have grown up hearing stories about Queenie and he would have spent time with Newt.

Luna Lovegood has main character energy. Makes you wonder her about her perspective during the Harry Potter books. Also, the attack on the ministry suggests that Death Eater, aside from Belatrix, are nothing more than a school bully gang. They literally don't do any harm but are just disruptive. Hell, Harry was more hardcore than the Death Eaters.

I would have preferred Neville for her. Both are gentle and sweet and courageous when necessary. But Harry yes also a good choice. Ginny was not the best choice for Harry. They had no sparks between them.

Luna Lovegood is a fierce friend, hard working and would had believe harry didn't put his name in the goblet. Ron and Cedric both disregared Harry. Luna anyday over Diggory. Luna is more fun and Diggory puts me to sleep. hated Percy Weasley too for been horrible to harry in book 5. prefect characters are actually the worst.
