I've started rewatching New Girl a while ago, and then this happened. Oh well, I tried to keep it short but obviously failed. I've been in love with these two since the pilot aired.
Rendering this video was a pain, and I am already sick of the song and the video itself. Also, I can see so many things I would change or fix, but just can't be bothered anymore, so here goes.
Oh, and also, can we just all agree that their first kiss was one of the best TV kisses to ever exist?! I could watch that scene on repeat, no jokes. "I meant something like that" ❤️

Gorgeous video. Wow. The chemistry between Jake and Zooey is ONE OF A KIND. They will always have the BEST TV KISS ever. And I'm still disappointed that the writers chose to give them a "goofy/eye patch" wedding instead of a beautiful and sweet wedding that they deserved so much! Also, the first 3 seasons were the best. I'm ignoring S4 and half of S5.

If it makes you feel better, I think they did the eyepatch thing because it was something that actually happened to one of the creators of the show on her wedding day. Also, I didn't mind the untraditional wedding because Nick and Jess make it clear in the episode that they don't really care how they get married, just that they get to marry each other and spend their lives together. 😊💕
