Weiss is my favourite character and I just love her developement! She started of cold, bitchy and confused because of the lies her father told her. She learned the truth about the faunus, what friendship means, that perfection and skill don't mean everything (ofcourse she thought so because that's how she survived and could get out of Atlas) and how she had a choice to live her own life. Through all that she became a caring, responsible, more open minded, strong and overall warmer character. How confused she must have been after her past but now understanding herself and everything so much better. First she the defended the SDC, now she feels bad about it and sorry for the many trouble it has brought everyone. I'm proud of her

Not to even mention that volume 6 was pretty focused on solving the issues between Blake and Yang, and volume 7 will be a lot about Weiss’ family, and we all know that Ruby said she’ll be there for every step of the way. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if WR gets at least as much screentime in v7 as BB. I’m not saying that they should be romantic, but they have a similar amount of development as BB. Not romantic, but platonic. That being said, I would love them being together.

Its a development of their friendship, not romance. Weiss has come to accept Ruby as a friend and leader over the course of 3 seasons. Not once has Ruby ever thought of Weiss (She thought of Team RWBY, not just her specifically) during V4. During V5 Weiss came back and they were happy about that. Ruby had the Silver-eye crap when Jaune ALMOST got his ass kicked by Cinder, but not Weiss getting impaled. V6: Ruby is concerned for Weiss in the cold, and Atlas. This is because of the abandonment issues the team felt after V3: -Blake runs away back to Menagerie' -Yang with PTSD -Ruby going to Haven -Leaving Weiss alone, with the Schnee family who treated her like crap. Of course she'd be afraid to just be handed over to them. Ruby reassures her. White Rose wasn't a thing from the very start. I can make another long paragraph why Blake and Yang in a relationship would suck. Ruby and Weiss are close friends, sisters more like it.

I think it is insanely interesting that Weiss changes the petals Ruby leaves behind. Like Blake, Yang, Nora, Penny. None of them change the petals. Whereas Weiss turns them half white, half red. its not split red and someone elses colour. Weiss is in every petal. Now knowing Ruby practically breaks down on the molecular level, that implies Weiss becomes a literal part of Ruby for that moment. Full on souls and molecules bound together.
