Thanks for this wonderful video! I had the grace of attending St Maximillian's canonization in Rome, Oct 10th 1982. Also, I was blessed to meet the man for whom he gave up his life in Auschwitz. St. Maximillian Kolbe, pray for us.

Saint Kolbe is to me, is the Saint of the Prisoners of War. I share this because the medal of the Prisoner of War is an Eagle with its talons and wings entangled in barbed wire. If I’m allowed to become a Catholic sister, my name with be Sr. Kolbe Pio. Sending prayers and love to all. God bless you.

Excellent overview of Kolbe’s life, although the image of his mother as a sexy American mom from the 1950s is a little anachronistic, not to mention inappropriate. Still, this is the sub 10 minute video I’m forwarding to others.
