Nobbel if you visit Darkshore after the Burning of Teldrassil and cross the river next to Lor'danel you can see the (I assume) last of the Darnassian defenders trying to protect civilians that were left behind, so it makes sense to say that some of the Wildhammers and some of the Horde troops are still fighting over whoever is left on Darkshore.

No sylvanas pushed right to teldrassil while the army went south to silithus. so the kaldorei army is still on the continent. She went through ashenvale-Darkshore-Teldrassil that means Felwood/Moonglade/Winterspring/Feralas/Desolace/Stonetalon/Mt hyjal all have night elves untouched.

The same thing happened with undercity but its completly surrounded instead of the top/left of the continent. It will be way harder to purge the Kaldorei from Kalimdor weras the alliance can round up the forsaken alot easier since they are in a more centralised location and more of them died in the battle for undercity comparatively. If Genn doesnt send his worgen to retake Gilneas then move into silverpine hes an idiot. Its the best opprotunity were the forsaken wont interfere. The wildhammer can move into arathi while the Alterac Dwarves move into hilsbrad and together the dwarves could meet up with the worgen and mop up the rest in silverpine. The western and eastern plaguelands would allow forsaken to escape to Quel thalas but the paladin order and the Alliance strongholds would allow the humans to utilize that location for the Forsaken purge of eastern kingdoms. The horde hower wont be able to utilize the tauren in a racial purge sylvanas had to hide teldrassil operation from baine by sending him to silithus. The Sindorei and Nightborne dont seem like they hate the night elves enough to join in a racial genocide either since with the long lifespans its like killing your second to 3rd cousins. So that leaves her with Orcs, Goblin, Forsaken, Troll. The maghar leader gave enough emphasis on honour that i think she will follow saurfangs lead and not do a racial purge (she knows her people did it in this timeline with the draenei and almost did it in her own) So i would take Orcs off the list as well. I dont see the Goblins-Forsaken (who just got hit hard)-Darkspear/Zandalari Forces succesfully taking out the Kaldorei army especially now that the alliance is re-establishing its foothold in the barrens and checking out if theramore is viable. Since the Horde was the clear aggresser the entire Alliance is united weras the Horde is completely divided. Unless that changes i dont see the Horde faring well this expansion.

it is a little funny, to hear two old veterans talk about their many wars, and then remember, that Alleria Windrunner is a commander of a 1000 years of war, and she is standing right there beside them. In her eyes, they must seem positively green.

Wyrmbane's backstory as a knight who was dubious of priestly skills but later became a paladin, is a nice little nod to Warcraft 2, where one of your troop types is the Knight that can be upgraded to a Paladin.

That's my point. People say those are trying times, but nothing has changed in the alliance leaders relationships toward each others (at least as shown in game). It was friendship and rainbows before, it's friendship, rainbows and vengeance now. On the Horde side their was 3 leader switch up, 1 leader killed by another one, 1 attempt of an entire race at leaving the horde, multiple open rebellions, and the war initiated by Sylvanas during BfA. I understand player of the alliance saying they're always on the defensive, but as a Horde player, being always pictured as the unstable ones is tiresome.

Well i doubt the Kaldorei are going to appreciate the fact that anduins ships did not arrive in time to help. His failure at undercity only turned around by suprise jaina will not help his cause. Moira and the dark Irons respected Varians strength and tactical mind. Muradin has had enough of boy prince who think they know best. Falstad has no reason to have a real opinion on him yet expect think him too young. Tyrande should be pretty mad at Anduin. If Anduin doesn't help Genn take Gilneas now when its the best opprotunity Genn should turn on him and start making plans behind his back with Tyrande to go extremist on the Forsaken and by proxy the rest of the Horde. It feels Velens main part in anything is over with the legion done so hes pobably going to be a Anduin yes man because hes of the light. Mekkatorque and the Gnomes have a meritocracy so he should think Anduin doesnt merit high king status. I would argue that jaina's level of trust from the other members of the alliance has changed from love her in WC3-Wrath to alot thought she went horde hate crazy then she mellowed out and found herself and the alliance loves her again. And when Varian returned in Wrath their was a little bit of friction with the other factions being ordered and not a democracy like the alliance was in Vanilla-BC (i know it wasn't really but with anduins age the other alliance races didnt follow his orders. it wasn't until Varian returned that their was a leader the alliance as a whole followed unequivocally I agree though based on seniority Tyrande or Mekkatorque should be Highking/Queen of the alliance following varians death since both were Vanilla faction leaders, its why even though i dont like sylvanas it was her turn for leadership the other 3 horde leaders with seniority are Dead/Dead/Retired depressed Dad.

You know, I really wish we could PLAY all these little campaign missions instead of sending out followers. Same problem I've had with the mission table since Warlords. Let ME do stuff, not my followers! Also, according to that Lor'danel evacuation mission: "A NIGHT ELF MADE IT TO THE WATER!"

Most of the table missions takes place in zones that will be warfronts, so it must be a sort of preparation for that

I get upset by the sheer sight of "guardians" or "bodyguards" following and fighting alongside other players. Don't know why but the whole thing feels stupid to me. Back in my day only hunters, warlocks and maybe mages with specific talent points had pets.

Not like the alternative to missions is actual quests/scenarios. The alternative is pretty much nothing since the first ones are much easier to make. Better to get as atleast a little bit engaged, through follower missions, in the war outside main islands then to just hear about it or read about it in a book or not see it at all.

i don't get why it's bad to send followers on missions. sure you wanna be everywhere at once. and i'm sure YOUR quest givers would also prefer you just stay out of it and they do everything themselves. the mission table is us being the quest givers for once.

I thought the reason why lothar chose turalyon out of uther and tirion was because turalyon was a lot more skeptical to how in order to win wars you need more than faith. He still belived in the Light henm was just less pious pious than his bretheren and understood how the consequence of military action.

I think it's interesting how Shaw seems to espouse the same beliefs as Sylvanas. Having faith that there will be a next war and a one after that, and saying he'd choose getting the job done over having honor. I like it.

I always thought something similar about the behaviour of Sylvanas and Anduin: Two seemingly opposite protagonist's that share the exact same goal. Both are aware of the moral conflicts in their governments and desire to lead their fellow leaders in a mutually beneficial direction. Hell, they both have ally leaders that actively seek to drive the Alliance and Horde in the opposite directions the King and Warchief want. to oppose Their methods, however, is what makes them opposites, and by extension, makes the Alliance and Horde opposites. Anduin wants to restrain the Alliance's methods of warfare and maintain the ideal future. Sylvanas wants to expand the Horde's methods of warfare and create the ideal future. Both of them I feel are justified in how they handle their leadership of their factions. But as time goes on, it seems like Anduin's goals are decaying with time. Until you have to wonder if he is the real leader of the Alliance at all.

It would be so much better if throughout the campaign you worked with different faction leaders. That's the point of the Alliance: different people working together. Vanilla lore was all over the place, but that is one thing they got right. Although Anduin is a perfect leader for the humans. A painfully generic king for a painfully generic race. Also, I don't get Mathias Shaw and SI:7 representing the "Alliance intelligence". When you have night elves and gnomes in your faction, humans really aren't the first choice for rogues and agents.

The alliance actually don't have honor. When fighting a single orc (Saurfang) it takes 20 players plus NPCs and instead of giving him and honourable death they imprison him. The alliance are just racist bigots that's all there is too it really.

It also seems like mechagnomes might come about as a allied race maybe a way to remove the corrupted bits from leper gnomes and give them mechanic prosthetics. Heck maybe the gnomes can finally get gnomeregan back and the worgen retake gilneas the night elves are going to need somewere to settle since i doubt sylvanas is going to stop with the kaldorei in stonetalon/feralas/felwood/winterspring so the could either take the forsakens lands but since its contested with humans/worgens it would be better to send them to Stranglethorn, Swamp of Sorrows or stormwind could let them have part of duskwood or maybe they can settle in Arathi if the alliance ends up claiming it during the expansion. and the trolls/goblins can build a capital on the echo islands/turn bilgewater port into a real one. The forsaken will have to find somewere to go. i guess they can move into silvermoon but i think it would be better for them to take over night elf lands maybe felwood, Darkshore/ashenvale or desolace.
