For a long time I always wondered what Alexstrasza's blessing of Nordrassil did. We knew Ysera's gave teh Night Elves easier access to the Emerald Dream and Nozdormu's gave Immortality, but it was never stated what Alexstrasza did. Until, I think, Chronicle where we are finally told that her blessing gave the Night Elves strength and vitality.

I always guessed the Druids of the Flame were a mixture of a Druid and Shaman, best specializing in Flame

With the cult of the dammed and the twilight hammer cult we learned where their recruits came from, but it was only with the druids of the flame where we got a group that was more than "I want power, so I support the apocalypse". The druids of the flame were a group of night elves that could not agree with their leader's philosophy of servitude and humility. Why give everything to protect the wilds when the Horde is genociding through Ashenvale and your leader decides to stay neutral. On another note, I really like it that we get diverging opinions among night elves. They have, more than every other race, been shoehorned into being druids and archers who selflessly protect nature. They now have mages, demon hunters and warlocks in their societies but narratively, they have not moved from the tree-hugging narrative. There is not a single questhub of night elf mages who are distinct enough to have their own organisation. And when we finally got to the mekka of night elf magecraft, blizzard did all it could to seperate the player-elves from those in Suramar and turned the only other group of mages into almost-druids.

I missed most of the Druids of the Flame stuff during Cataclysm, except the Thrall quest, and I only did the Firelands raid in Legion to get the Firelord title for my fire mage. But I'm really looking forward to 10.2, where they will expand their story. I'm also looking forward to the datamined Druids of the Flame transmog, provided it isn't scrapped like those unisex bras, or locked behind some insane grind or promo event.

Is it explained how Staghelm and the other druids of flame goons managed to subdue 4 aspects, Thrall and Malfurion at the same time with ease? I understand that they were empowered by Ragnaros but it seems unlikely that they'd be able to do that. Or was it just a plot device to further the story?

At this point in lore, the aspects powers are still cut by half I think right? I don't think they destroyed the dragon soul yet. Also of course 2 of the aspects are gone, basically they aren't that powerful anymore until they face off against death wing again.

Now i don't know how much power Ragnaros gave to Staghelm but I still think it's wierd how he could subdue them all with what seems to be no effort at all. Also I'm not sure if Kalec has become the blue aspect at this point but at their very weakest there's still three aspects around.

Sadly, that goes for ALOT of characters in WoW because if the story of that xpac doesn't involve you in the slightest...you won't be talked about at all. Which becomes a lose-lose situation because the character suffers because a lack of story and the team suffers since they didn't talk about that character for awhile. Smolderon was considered a maverick to be chosen as the new Firelord but they needed him to be that way so they could combat the Legion. After the Legion, Smolderon was building his forces (evidence from the Dark Iron heritage quests) in BFA which was literally a facepalm moment. After that....nothing till now. Like, nobody remembers this guy even though I remember back in the day he was talked about being a future possible threat but was forgotten about after 1-2 years and then now he becomes one of the major threats to the Emerald Dream??? It's just Blizzard classic example of throwing a villain that has a lack of development or hype built around him or in this case....lost hype.@@DeaddMax

I hated how malfurion just abandoned Hamuul. Leyara was his responsibility and he was like, nope not my problem. Same way he treated Illidan. Instead of being a brother and trying to understand his brother he banished him. All he cared about was himself. Just like with Leyara and Hamuul. Glad the bastard is dead.

heh, next year is the 20th anniversary of WoW....and we are expecting a new expansion soonish....Blizzard also hinted at Ragnaros is not actually dead dead back in BFA.....Now Druids of the Flame are popping up all over the place? I think best way for neutralize the threat from Fireland is that they must not has a Fire Elemental Lord , the realm must in battle and civil war itself to make sure no one has time is aggesssive to attack other plain, like Ranakgok to mortal realm and other elenental realm or new Fire lord Smodelron is expanding in Emerald Dream come up with patch 10.2

and here is my question to all of U---->, this "Heavy price" we pay, was,is it necessary or just stupid? if u look at the WOW time line over all and from an "Eternity's point of view", evry thing we do to save the world, ends up making us and the world weaker, cruler, short lived and mocking up boders between evrything... like when the world tree got blown up, was it worth it, now that we know there was another way, eg simply overpowering Acumond with 5-10 heros. and how stupid are the Elf/trolls in wow history.... eg a "old" superpowered elf, meat Sageres and gets scrued so badly that the hole world craks, but 10.000 leater se still dos the same deals!!! and i realy hate how Blizzard keeps chancing way people do what they did, just to make a cheap "WAW i didten see that comming"-effekt, or when u go back in time to fix someting, but the knowledge people like Malfyrien gets, on ef the Legion or other "bosses" that is just lost and have no inpackt on the timeline... eg how would the wold looks if we i warcaft 3 banded the Hord and Allanice together (like in the game) but the put a hero grup in insted of a "normal army" and beat up Acumond without blowing up the world tree and then used that huge win to keep it all together!?! but nooo, its mucth easyer to just forget ho konws what at just go with it!! just look at how easy evrything in wow is today? all u need today is time, no skill and no need for knowledge, u get a Q, and then 2-4 Arrows will point u to wher u need to go or to what u need to get.... its like playing a game ment for 5-10 year olds. but nice story m8 and keep up the good work👍

Hm, I will be honest your complaints tell me you are not that understanding of story development. The reason they do things is to create a story. Of course they didn't explain everything well so there are tons of plot holes, blizzard was never known to be the best story tellers, they just did amazing world building. One thing I will suggest is you read the novels like war of the ancients, the reason it was harder back then because it was Queen Azshara the most powerful mortal at the time with her royal army working with the legion. Then when Archmond came again, before he was summoned I think you forget the lich king did amazing work in Warcraft 3 in destroying all the strong defenses azaroth had, the high elves with their sun well magic (basically descendants of queen azshara and her powerful mage highborne) , the humans with their magic and powerful connection to the light, the orcs who had two amazingly strong leaders... then of course they used the orcs to get rid of the night elves demigod cenerius. Also at this time the dragon aspects are incredibly weakened and are not able to do a lot. All in all, I think you need to understand with story development there needs to be drama happening. Also even though they didn't explain a lot of small details, back then before the new blizzard team took over, they did explain a lot of the lore through wow, books and warcraft games, and comics too. So I think there just a lot you are missing out on, that's why it's very confusing and strange to you.

@@bunnyrabi u are right in a lot of ur clames... but wrong in 2 importent points. 1. In warcaft 1-2-3 + wlord of warcaft1-2-3 they had/used the same backstory and rules for how and why things are the way they are, with tons and tons of room to grow with what they hadade, just like blizzard did with the Diablo 1-2 games, the set the standart for gaming and how games gets populer by follow "the same story" compered to other games like "super mairo" wher the only thing the of the story/games have in commen is small things and the games therefore stands apart. But now blizzard dos the same thing by chanceing not just the "why and how" but also bring dead people back, and the rules that holds the "warcaft-univers" together. 2. The problem with most storys is they have an ending, and u have to be carefull with how u add to that story without shitting on what an person/thing that has happend in that story, like way did the nightels blow up the worldtree and send in 3 "normal armys" agenst Acumond in Wc3 then all it takes to beat him is 5-10 heros(and Malfyrien has beaten Acumond before, soloing him crapless and cursing him to flee before but he dosent seem to remember that leater)? Cus we been back in time to fix things soooo many times now, not to mention get things, but this somehow is forgotten, mostly becurse of a cool cdi clip... look at that they did to wc with the remake of the game. They opped the grafik sure but made all the cutsceens seem dead by having the people talking just standing pointlesss around,not even the libs wher moving. So did they opgrede or destroy the game with this remake? And that is my point way break the rules of a game and chance evrything with things like "space ships" insted of portels, just to make "a new boss" when ur story alredy have bosses u can bring back aka deamons, and untold enemies in a legion that spand over 1000s of worlds?
