Thank you DJ, the growth and prominence, perhaps the survival of this historically new form of racing, "simracing" depends on the journalism of the sport, as can be seen in real life auto sports, if we can see and hear the competitors stories and let them bear their souls as the person behind the wheel, then we all win, and present the next would-be racer, or race fan, to the beauty of racing, in all it encompasses... the thrills of victory and the agony of defeat, a human endeavor that predates the ancient Greeks and continues to evolve unto the present times and into the future!

it was, my buddy wowthatsgarbage was in it. We had been playing for years together and he was trying to get me in with him. We did get to hang out though when they came to charlotte for championship weekend for the first season. We had a deal where if one of us was in the other's state, we would hang out. All the racers were really cool too, had raced with a lot of the xbox guys for years so it was cool to put faces to gamertags.

Great story and love your format. I used to work at a track once a month. What always impressed me was, even the real car racers, the people that had to pay to race and maintain their cars, had the same attitude "it's just racing". If a racer didn't have a spare of a broken part, word would get around by itself and someone would come up with one.

I remember when this was around, I raced with and beat some of these guys in the qualifying lobbies. There's about three or four really skilled players that were in that league, and the rest were essentially just content creators to advertise the game. The reality is that most of these players are just plain average, except theyre unemployed and spend 60 hours a week grinding the game.

idk its really hard to take a side here. Two guys driving hard, some bumping which is totally acceptable and ok he got past. The video makes it look like hes swerving up to push him out toward the wall and yeah that is not cool. But if the replays are not accurate maybe not. Either way, there was no crash only some hard driving and thats just the way it goes. Gotta be a killer to be a winner.

Yeah I'm not buying it if it's $70. This is the reason why game studios that are selling $70-$100 games are shitting the bed and $30-$450 indie titles are thriving. And September gets them the Black Friday/ Christmas sells while the game is still relevant. The logic that raising the price will make the game look better is the same dumb logic that has caused big games such as COD to lose their player base. It's better to sell a cheaper game and sell dlc for the game otherwise all future dlc would need to be free for it to be worth an obsurd price tag
