So the Summoner's Cup is too heavy for any one player to carry, and has to be lifted by the entire team? Meaningful.

Really sad the music of worlds starting in 2014 was not mentioned. I feel like "Warriors", "Ignite", and "Legends Never Die" really add to the hype that was the worlds experience. Especially Imagine Dragons having that live concert at worlds. It shows how impactful worlds had on mainstream entertainment media. Riot could get all these great artists to help add to eh charm and excitement.

As an avid follower of Worlds, I have to say some of the details were not interpreted really well. It was clearly a video done with research, but not by a follower of the event, so a lot of the context was lost. For example, describing season 6 as a strong year for Europe, when it was one of the worst. And not mentioning Europe's run in season 5, which was their actual strong year. And their was a lot of focus on the prize pool, but anyone with real business interests in League esports or understand how professional sports leagues work know that the prize pool doesn't matter.

You say what you want about the issues surrounding Worlds 2015, but for me personally - and for many EU fans - it was the most *hyped* Worlds to date ! The French crowd was incredible during the group stage and made that Dyrus moment possible, the Worlds 2015 theme song was the best one to date and their unique intro animation and narration, showing what teams competed and seeing them streak around the Eiffel Tower and towards the Finals in Berlin was amazing ! Add to this that EU fielded 2 of the strongest Western teams ever in Fnatic and Origen and the hype really knew no bounds !

I got goosebumps for the entire video. Ever since the begging, i've been here. I remember the very first championship, i remember the struggles they went trough, i remember the flash plays, the words, the excitement, i remember rooting for those teams. I remember them all. League was, and still is truly magical. For this very reason, it has a special place in my heart, it does in all of our hearts. It might not be the best game out there, but compared to other games it did charm us in ways others never had, and never will. League isn't just about Summoners Rift. League, is about all those magical moments it has offered us throughout the years. Be it good, be it bad, we've had our fair share of suspense, excitement, disapointment, comebacks , surrenders, quits, and rises. League changed the way we see E-Sports, League changed the way the world sees E-Sports. League took online gaming out of the basement and made a big ass statue out of it, showing it to the eyes of the world. This is us, this is what we do. And people love us for doing it!

You even mentioned '' C9 took WE to a 5th match'' like if it was spectacular and just said '' skt went to 5 maps against MSF and RNG '' like wtf. In every year you also talk about C9 and NA teams and even mentioned the Dyrus retirement which is insignificant. Nevertheless, I liked this and all of your videos but try to fix what I said.

So true. Love the video but it is a bit bias. Fnatic and Origen season 5 were incredible and didn't get mentioned at all, it's even safe to say EU 2015 were better than China 2015

yGLeviathan he was? well at that point he was maybe one of the longest playing players he was neither good(compared to the world) nor special(compared to the west) hell soaz is far more of a legend 2nd at s1 worlds played every but one lcs split(the only he didnt was when origen was in the challenger series) semi finals at worlds 5 titles in EU its significant in the fact that it was a moving moment, something rarely seen before (if at all) for a progamer

Vo Tan Phat Dyrus attended 5 World consecutively though, he was always at World up until he retired. Even Faker, with 3 World Championship, couldn't attend it 4 times consecutively.

Awesome video but I have a lot of criticizm. First time I'm watching such video from you guys, but It felt so much NA centered. You are NA based so it makes sense, but if you want to make the greatest esports content you should be more neutral. You didn't said first season who won, which is wierd to put it lightly. Second, you focused on venues which were based on NA and almost nothing said for season 5. It was almost skipped with half the time you given to other worlds. May be it wasn't awesome as other worlds, but its segment was just rushed. Yes, I'm EU resident. Yes, I'm Fnatic fan, but I don't want to glorify the region or the team particular. Objective statements should include more detailed season 5 recap, and more EU and China teams stories. All video was Korea dominated, NA felt in the groups, M5/Gambit had high expectations (most mentioned EU team), China (rearly said any team name) was on the final and Wild Card team claimed a milestone. It was a good video for sure, just next time try to add more depth.

The story of leagur of legends couldn't be written any better. S3 was a perfect statement that they're the biggest Esports and also was the same year the Goat of the game will be born. Every stars aligned for that event.

WTF? You didn't even mentioned once neither OG nor FNC at worlds 2015, but instead you spoke of C9 1st week? Dude OG went 3-0 the same week and they beat KT (korea) + LGD (china's champion) + TSM... WTF Dude

I now start to feel like Uzi can be a contender for the title "greatest player to ever touch the game". Faker had bengi and impact/marin, not to mention bang/wolf. Those are super-tier players themselves. Uzi had babysitters whose strategy is basically protecting him and can't carry when that strat doesn't work, until now.

I liked the video, but I feel like 4 important things weren't mentioned: 1- The video did say that MSF played a game 5 against SKT, but didn't point out the fact that MSF went from Challenger Series to competing with one of the best teams in the world in the shortest time imaginable. 2- FNC and OG run in 2015 was at least worth a mention (from semifinals the tournament was EU vs KR only) 3- Once SKT won with 6 players, since Faker and Easyhoon were constantly switching 4- In last Worlds, FNC went from 0-4 to getting access to the main event. Now that's a record.

Guys stop arguing about who has the biggest views oor prize pool between Worlds & TI. (welp 25mil for the price pool for TI, I wont argue with that). Let me tell u without Worlds, Esports will not be this big, and still will be a laughing shock media. Yes TI is much entertaining and their year of sucess every year, but don't get me wrong Worlds is always be above of TI when it comes to Esports.
@alaa341g6 жыл бұрын
how the fuck worlds is above TI when it's less competitive , less entertaining , less meaningfull (4m price pool always gained by the same teams ) and mechaniclly trash ( less then 50 % of champ are picks in worlds and only one strat ) man lol is the biggest game but if ur talking about competitive scene LOL is trash in comparaison of dota
@ruori25546 жыл бұрын
well is trash in competitive scenes, but it doesn't matter either people hate the game and the way is so boring becuz of the meta like last year for LoL, people still look it as one of the biggest esports scene, because of how it change the whole Esports scene. Yeah I might be wrong that I said Worlds is above TI, TI is much more entertaining as a LoL player even tho I barely understand the game I have respect to both games, but the fact that how Worlds is still above TI in Esports scene because is more popular and much more easier to understand. Sorry if I might accused u or what, this is just my opinion.
@alaa341g6 жыл бұрын
i respect ur opinion man , yeah i told u LOL has the biggest audiance and i can say it's more professionnel then dota in term of esport ( cuz LOL has a league and it pay evry player ) but LOL pro scene is trash , speacking as someone who played the 2 games (almost all lol players are not invested in the pro scene as dota players ) even with the large deffireance in the players ( 67m active player for lo against 15 for dota ) TI still compet with LOL worlds and have more prize pool and when Ti is angoing most of the players are watching and not playing
@hikari31856 жыл бұрын
@@alaa341g You're basically saying it's better because they have a bigger prize pool? Lmao also the reason it doesn't feel like most ppl are watching worlds instead of playing is just the player base number difference the reason Worlds you said it yourself it's more professional and has a bigger audience just because we can't fund 20+ million $ like Sora doesn't make it worse also considering most of soloq is impacted by pro play and meta even if it shouldn't because soloq and pro play are basically two different games it's clear that a lot of players are invested in the pro scene in their own way ofc
@asch37366 жыл бұрын
Thats a yikes from me dawg, admit TI have bigger prizepool and more entertaining but still saying this world? is better 😂 even with the cutting budget for this year that everyone said?
