I'm not personally sure how would it fit within the events of the games but, I think people are currently trying to "reanimate" it in a special fan collab to bring the cartoon to life somewhat.

5:36 The art design of the Crash animated series (including the character designs themselves) don't look anything like the scenes from the cartoon intro in your video that you showed in 5:12-5:19-7:43-7:48

That's because the older one is unused cutscenes for the original Crash Bandicoot from 1996, it was used as a point of comparison in terms of the animation.
