The Strange and Obscure Persona 3 Spin-Offs

I'm guessing the reason the earlier Persona 3 spin-offs were Japan only was because Atlus wasn't fully sure at the time how successful Persona can be for them. It was a big hit for them but they were still relying on the Shin Megami Tensei name for the series, since vanilla Persona 4 originally had it. They also didn't let Persona 3 be their big cash cow for years like P4 and P5 since P4 was only 2 years after P3. It wasn't until Persona 4 when they realized that Persona can be their main series, thus dropping the SMT name and creating a lot of spin-offs for Persona 4 that would be more accessible, and at that point Persona 3 was no longer the most recent game

speaking of removed characters in dancing in moonlight.... wheres metis, they put labrys and sho, who are from persona 4 arena as dlc but not metis, who appears in persona 3 the answer/episode aigis?! real shame, as they have heartful cry, with the arena from the answer, but metis herself isnt even a dancer, not even as dlc! they could have gave her p3fes and darkness as songs to dance to, imagine how cool it would be to see metis, labrys and aigis dancing together! [i imagine if metis was in dancing in moonlight, her dancing would be a mashup between ballet and baton twirling, with her using her staff-axe-thing as a baton]

I played the P4D game on the Vita and it was pretty fun, even though the story sucked. But P3D and P5D afterwards just seemed like an obvious cash-in, a shame. Some of these obscure games seem very interesting, and I tried scouring the internet archives for old Java ME games, but unfortunately, not a single japanese Persona mobile game to be found. We shall pray that a westerner comes to buy up old boomers' phones in japan and extract them somehow, just like the fairly recent McDonald's Japan DS cartridge.
