And they can't comprehend the info that it is the historical and living in buildings, nobody would destroy them and new buildings are built in other areas that aren't showed in the video. Личные впечатления от своей поездки, обратил внимание что люди ходят в плохой обуви, понял что причиной ужасные тротуары, в старых подворотнях вообще ужас. Фастфуд на улицах ужасного качества, спросил у питерцев, говорят всё захватили чечены. Продавцы ленивы, хамовиты и не поворотливы (особенно странно это видеть в МакДональцах). Жил в микрорайоне 70-х годов дорожку к метро только начали прокладывать какие-то азиаты. Вообще на строителей смешно было смотреть, они вялые как с похмелья или обкуренные. В целом город понравился, но это касается истории а не пукинсой показухи. Коммент заканчиваю, т.к. нет уверенности что его пропустит Ютюб.

Для россиян, которые тут пишут, как плохо выглядит Киев, какое всё старое и дряхлое. Я израильтянин, живу в Киеве с 2014 года. За это время мой Святошинский район изменился до неузнаваемости! Везде прекрасные дороги, парки новые, бульвары построили. Новые жилые комплексы тут и там. Учитывая, что 10 лет в стране война, что Россия уничтожила уже 30-40% украинского ВВП, Киев развивается довольно быстро. В центре да - новостроек почти нет, и это хорошо, зачем они там? Центр должен быть историческим в европейском городе. В общем, Киев классный, это человечный, тёплый город, в отличие от холодного Мордора, залитого нефтяными долларами. Днепр прекрасен, виды с холмов удивительные, люди хорошие, еда вкусная. А сколько до войны было фестивалей разных, концертов! Приезжайте в Киев после войны, не пожалеете! Если вы, конечно, не путинец, этих нам не надо, от слова вообще.

Kyiv was an historical and beautiful Russian city, and there is no desire to destroy it. Why the Ukrainians broke the Minsk Accords makes no sense. Why did their leader want a war? Why do they take billions of America like beggars, when they picked a fight with their neighbor? We will hope for peace, and let Donetsk and Luhansk be independent. Ukrainians that I know also speak Russian. Kiev should remain in Ukraine and be the international capital it used to be.

Дякую, що правильно пишеш та вимовляєш назву нашого міста Київ (Kyiv). Довго ми вчили іноземців і нарешті маємо прекрасні результати. Українські храми та церкви у нас неймовірні і майже всі побудовані на гроші українських та місцевих меценатів таких як сімя Терещенко та Лазаря Бродського. Окрім звичайно стародавніх давньоруських соборів, таких як головна окраса міста собор Святої Софії. Один з найстаріших православних храмів Украиїни та Європи. Війна з росіяєю(московія) змінила киян та всіх українців. Люди стали набагато більш відкритими та добрими. Допомають один одному. Тому наше місто навіть під час війни виглядає прекрасно. Звийчано велика подяка нашим військовим ЗСУ та силам Протиповітряних оборони. Іноземцям Київ та Україна завжди рада (окрім росіян та білорусів). Київ як і інші українські великі міста такі як Харків, Одеса, Львів, Дніпро продовжують жити та розвиватись і завжди з радістю примають іноземних туристів. Щоб світ більше дізнавався про українську історію (які більще 1000 років), культуру, мистецтво, українську кухню ( особливо українськи борщ та вареники). Приємно,що все більше іноземців під час війни їдуть в Україну і показують Україну.

​@@toxicomentorI just spent 3 months in Ukraine (Lviv) and left only because I'd reached the end of my 90 allowed days. Sadly, Lviv was hit with a more savage attack just after I left and this is tragic. You quickly grow used to the air raid sirens and electricity cuts (except for me when the really high heat hit I could not bear it and had to move to a place with more stable electricity). Other than all the generators making such a racket you can hardly think, life was pretty normal. Life goes on. I'm not letting Putin scare me. I plan on returning to Ukraine in 2025.

But now situation is better because a lot of people in my area have sun batteries so we don't really consume more than produce and local governments stopped turning off the electricity. Some other regions still have electricity problems but of course it's not like they don't have electricity at all. There are usually planned switches that existe to decrease the power usage in the conditions of lack of the electricity

A lot of mad ruskies in comments. Many thing changed over last 30 years. The Maidan central square was rebuilt for example. There are some new monuments: Queen Olga, Dante. Myhailivsky monastery, destroyed by soviets, was recreated. The central stadium was rebuilt from scratch. A lot of new malls and residential buildings, whole quarters, business centres. New underground stations were open. The new bridge across the river Dnipro was constructed. Maybe this video is not enough representative in that respect. It's more like a quick walk through the city. Kyiv is not ideal but to my mind it is much more comfortable place than Moscow. I mean I don't like the idea of leaving in a huge city irrespectively how much money is there.

While watching, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong, curbs, asphalt, street kiosks, subways, playgrounds, everything was different, a general vibe of despondency and untidiness. I went to look, and sure enough, Kyiv.
