21 years ago, I worked night shifts alone at a 7/11. We were allowed to play whatever music we wanted, as long as the customers didn’t complain. Original Pirate Material was one of my go-to’s. I remember sweeping the floors, after midnight. Dreaming of a life, doing something different. Weak Become Heroes was my favorite song from that album. This song reminds me of that in the very best way. Thank you for continuing to provide the soundtrack to my life, all these years later.

I found The Streets by accident one rainy afternoon in The Bay Area. I would scan am stations to try and find something that wasn't the usual crap. Ironically enough, I stumbled onto Let's Push Things Forward. Of all the tracks I could have happened across, it was that one. I've never stopped listening to your music, Mike. I never will, either.

Skinners music has been a huge part of my life since I was 7-8 when I first heard dry your eyes. I'm 28 now and still racing away whenever I get the chance and over the last year Fred again became my new Mike skinner I noticed so many similarities between their styles but now this has confirmed to me Fred has had inspiration from Mikes style and I love his music even more for that. This song has made me very happy when I went to see what Mike had released recently.
