So I have never been inclined to “try a build” but you explained yourself so well and did a very good job with the video. So I tried it. I lose 90% of the time, but when you land that 3-hit combo it kinda makes it all worth it. It’s extremely difficult for a noob like myself to figure out how to punish players and use this weapon as the swing speed can be pretty slow.

​@@OnlyWaifuYT I didn't have to wait for him to stand up he was just standing as soon as he spawned after reviving him, I used cheat engine for it incase that helps. For me he just spawned standing up and when I approached he started attacking me, spewing fire, doing a roar that sounded like a toddler having a tantrum? After that we just decided to not negotiate any further since I was shivering in my timbers from greyoll standing up. I have the footage but my mic was set to the wrong source so you can only hear my friend in the clip if you want it.

Knight greatsword is very good but only problem is an offhand dagger can hit between frames and roll away,flaming strike may compensate that I guess🙏

Honestly really cool accident to have the coolest ashable Greatsword have such a neat trick to it's usage. Play with an un-strafing 3rd person camera and moving the attacks directions feels like it could be explored as an entirely new game mechanic in some game.

My absolute favorite Greatsword from the game. The move set is the best sword moveset in the souls series (I wish more swords utilized it). Almost everything combos and it goes very well with several ashes of war (storm stomp, piecing fang (roll catches), lightning blade, ect).

The Knight's Greatsword animations reminds me a lot of the Old Mirrah Greatsword from DS2, but more polished. Those attack stances are pretty unique.

Yeah i lost to that weapon at lvl 60, they didn't do that combo lock off on me but now it makes more sense how they got hits on me, pre pokes with spears can be the way to go, but i need to look into other alternatives

My favorite weapon on my str/faith build. I can still cast with 272 incant scaling at 138 with good str damage. My build is a little cokie cutter though. With 50 str and 32 faith for all buffs.

For the Stats i think the Mystery weapon is a Lance or Great Lance. I would assume its the one from Tree Sentinel or the one from the Haligtree knights, the Clean-rot one

funny enough, the axe of godfrey special r2 can true combo into any offhand thrusting sword. Can also be buffed by roar medallion and has insane hyper armour

This tech is where guard counter is usefull to punish, especially with 2h colossal. I can consistently out trade this attack by block the 1st, HA the 2nd into big bonk. 1200 dmg in return with RKR and curved sword talisman

Inseparable Sword already has Sacred Blade, auto banished undead and has the Same move set. Also try Stormblade on the Knights Great sword with Cold infusion.

I'm a big fan of this stuff. It's a solid punishment for forgetting that spacing matters in this game. Still, I like that spacing isn't the only thing that matters anymore - reminds me of DS2, where you'd have to be pretty careful with your moveset's hitbox limits and you'd have more decent options for breaking neutral.

I usually dont like big swords. But in Elden Ring I liked this one. The moveset is more elegant. This was my sword for the last 6 bosses of the game, including Mallenia. I used it with Electrify Armament + Sword dance
