Just because they have differences doesn't mean they will kill each other. The situation is way more complicated, for a culture to impose itself upon others there has to be a supremacist intention, but it would surprise you how many times the actual source of violence is not a desire to eliminate others but actually a reaction to a communication problem, a lack of proper mediation, or a supressive government. If Africa united it would be for a reason (Aka it would be people in favor and doing what's possible to keep it that way), and it has happened a lot in history that ethnical differences and historical rivalries were put aside by a greater union force, like the existence of a foreign threat or an ideological brotherhood ideal.

The location of England also makes it very clear why the contro & colonization of Britain and Ireland was so important. Otherwise their rivals enemies (like France, the Netherlands, or France) could just invade from that territory or harras the British navy. Talking about the navy, it also shows why England NEEDED the strongest navy. In the ~100 years they had a navy stronger then most other navies combined (thank the Dutch for that) they were uninvadable, but when they hadn't they were still invaded often enough.

​@@Mmmeeee4 Many important global ports that were Dutch first eventually became British after conflicts (Napoleonic Wars being the biggest example) also the Dutch navy was a beast in it's prime but the homeland had no natural barriers to stop the French army (which lead the Dutch to take bite out of their first minister) this taught the Brits to take advantage of their own natural barriers (As well the fleeing/defecting Dutch ships) and well you know the rest.

To my knowledge, it was a joint opperation between the French and British army (and both Prince-Bishopric of Münster and Electorate of Cologne also declared war). So even when they bested the Britsh on the sea and won a few battles on land to defend themselves. The amount of costs these fights had, just put too much strain on the Dutch economy and everything (including the army) collapsed because of it.

Technically the overseas colony one is incorrect in respect to Latvia, Latvia (the Duchy of Courland and Semigallia at the time) did colonize both Tobago in the Caribbean and The Gambia in Africa. Austria and Hungary would also be wrong as well given that they under the Austro-Hungarian Empire they held a part of Tianjin in China. Edit: For the last video I think Oceania would opt to join the Americas before being conquered by Asia, simply due to the fact of cultural similarities, plus the Americas would have territory already close to them in the form of Guam, Northern Mariana Islands and American Samoa and thanks to the Compact of Free Association Palau, Marshall Islands and Federated States of Micronesia are effectively US and by proxy the Americas protectorates in this scenario. I likewise think the Americas would opt to assist Europe/Africa against Asia just to keep a buffer state between them on at least one side.

The main barrier to all the countries in Africa unifying into one country is France. As pointed out by Italian PM Georgia Meloni, the 14 "FrancAfrique" nations in West Africa have 50% of their individual GDP's locked up in mainland France for the privilage of of using the CFR Franc, "protection" by the French Foreign Legion and have been coerced into contracts covering a further 25% of their GDP. If these 14 nations can be "liberated" and have their money returned to them, not only would they be better off (assuming their President does not run off with it) but it would make a single African Country a possibility. There are (or were) a bunch of documentaries on KZbin that covered the situation of the the 14 "FrancAfrique" nations in more detail.

I have serious doubts that, in that scenario, Asia would invade Oceania. Even with all that military might, a massive long-distance naval invasion against Australia, whose military power is currently ranked at ~16th and is largely focuses on maritime defense, would be absurdly costly when you plan on fighting several superpowers immediately afterwards (exact ranking is debatable, but I have to work with what info is publicly available). Instead, they'd benefit more from isolating Oceania until the land wars were mostly concluded in Europe and Africa. At that point, if they weren't keen on an even more difficult naval invasion of the Americas, they'd be free to invade Oceania as the losses of material and manpower wouldn't be critical to future war plans. I also don't understand the idea of Asia leaving the nuclear powers alone. By the premise of the video, you need to think every participant will fight at full power for their side and so they'd pull the nukes out for the other members just like they would if defending themselves. If you don't consider each side as being monolithic, infighting needs to be considered and would dominate every conflict and everything would fall into chaos.

Brazil also produce military aircrafts like Griphens, Super Tucanos and the cargo KC390. Brazil has the second largest number of airports in the world after the United States. The uranium reserves and mastery of the extraction and production of nuclear fuel and also the technology to produce nuclear reactors THAT BRAZIL HAS could be used to make Nukes (read the news about the Brazilian nuclear submarine that the USA and Europe are complaining about). In this hypothetical situation we don't need to follow the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons anymore... Furthermore, the deployment of troops, equipment and military spending would leave the northern territory (Alaska and Canada) fragile to be invaded by other nations, mainly from Asia, which would be more powerful. Also do not forget the Chilean Navy and Air Force, which are well equipped, and the armies of Colombia, Bolivia and Venezuela, which, in addition to having training for the tropical forest, deal with drug dealers (Brazil too). With the union of the armies in South America there would be more than 4,000,000 soldiers, which 1,600,000 just in Brazil alone, not counting the untrained reservists who would be called up to start training (enlistment is mandatory for men in Brazil).
