The Barrett chest would be better. You get a stronger pulse and it adds 10 percent damage rather than the 8 from reckless, then pop the booster shot for the multiplicative 15 percent plus your toughness will go up too.

If I recall elevated is multiplicative vs competent being additive dmg wise but its harder to keep up due to the elevation. Pve full firearms dmg to elites with a deadly ferocious destructive m700 is my go to and it wrecks house even legendary missions if it isnt 1-2 tapping trash mobs itll take chunks off yellow bars and 1 shot weakpoints on heavys even bosses no lesw and the red/purple bar garbage mobs are laughably disposed of. Not sure if hunters faith can hold a candle to dead eye even post rework tbh. Btw try this build with a historian in pvp... :) the explosions dont benefit from the Crits but with that firearms amount..... yeah watching a quick burst of shots kill a guy rolling into cover from the pops afterwards is so satisfying. Shame devil and heel crit dmg buff isnt easier todo vs players as for semi autos they are fun with a 6 piece sentry setup but sadly fall short with dead eye although is useable in pve with proper play. Glad to see you back in the build vids man gets the hamster running the wheel in my noggin watching your stuff and seeing something I didnt think of or disliked till I tried it your way on a particular setup.

I use something near this set up. I have a house that I swap out with the SVD, but usually I run in a 4 man group. I run a shock turret and scrambler, mainly to protect my back or my retreat and the scrambler to help keep me hidden.

I also have a sniper build with Barrett’s/bliss holster/skull gloves/ 3 random classified pieces. This build hits crits for over 1M pvp and 3M pve (and I don’t have brutal yet). Sniper has disciplined so every pve shot is one shot kill providing I don’t miss, nomad with full overheal leaves between half a bar and one and a half bars

You could also use a tenacious mask instead of a reckless chest, it does more damage with no drawback at the cost of being conditional.

I have been dead eye since day one, this is how I currently run my build, you can get 20% crit hit damage mods on scope, grip, and loud vent break. I have the grip n vent break, a buddy (also deadeye) has the C79 with 20 chd....xbox1 = box qwkazel, great vid btw

no, without the cover restriction its simply too powerful. I think the 6 piece is dead in PvP but i dont necessarily think it should be reworked fully

Last patch we used 3 pc deadeye and 2 Banchee w ninja. Very good combination. Not sure if the 10% present extra damage from Banchee is worth 20% chc now with 5 piece Deadeye but it was really strong. But you would get 10% more damage without reckless and add survivability

Keep seeing gear with what appears to be two rerolls (signified by the arrow next to the stat). Thought there was only one reroll per gear piece? Assuming its a classified thing? If only 4 piece due to not having classified, what gold/exotic is recommended in addition?

I'm using this build since 1 mouth, try the new exotic sniper rifle, the Heel. On skirmsh and last stand is a must, you destroy a lot of support station and it's free Critic dmg and the row damage is high than Svd. You can control quite easy this new gun. Did you try it, I saw you have it on the inventory?

Just so you know I tired the Historian with the 6 piece and the bullet explosion procs the Headshot bonus. I shot at an NPC and got the full 100% damage on the 3rd Headshot.

There's something wrong with this. The 4th piece of the set says that you loose the headshot bonus and gain 100% critical hit elsewhere. The thing is, I only do critical hits with a headshot. I don't know what's going on.

bj9600 A Global Event that specifically rewards Dead Eye classified gear, but that is at least a month or months away depending where it’s at in the rotation. Other than that farm and grind away, very long odds though considering how many gear sets are now out and there are 6 pieces to acquire.

I find this vid confusing. I’m using a very similar build with the M700 but I’ve found that by not using the scope I’m getting double the damage I do scoped. I’m lucky to break 400k scoped yet I often hit for a mil open sighted. The 4 set bonus to me is rubbish. And my gear isn’t even as good as yours

It doesn't make sense to run pulse because this build is only viable in a squad (you have no heal or health). Any other person in your squad will have a more powerful pulse than this build. I do think it's a fun build tho.

Shah Gamer wtf are you talking about. I said I liked the build. I just wouldn't run pulse. I didn't say anything about a skill build. Most builds I see in 1.8 are made of 75% firearms and 25% electronics with little to no stamina. A build like that will have a better pulse than his.

Trials Passage My point when making that comment was switch out pulse for just about anything. Skill choice is obviously personal preference, but in a squad pulse is common and 9 times of 10 there will be a player with a pulse that is stronger than a base pulse. Now if you want to say this is good solo build then go for it. It looks fun.

ultimaballer Best way is with a global event, there’s one coming up starting Tuesday but it won’t be for Dead Eye. Next best way is to take down any boss and that will give you a very small chance at getting a piece of classified gear. There are videos on KZbin with peoples ideas on how to farm and grind for them.

I also run deadeye. With 5 piece dead eye two of those pieces being classified. And a strikers backpack. My m700 tactical wrecks npcs and manhunt rogues. Absolutely can’t wait for the “ambush” ge event. Gonna farm for hunters faith and make a hunters deadeye build with my m700 tactical or a m44.

At 2:30 you say that the 6 piece bonus set removes the hs bonus form 4 piece.. ?? what? Are u sure? Have you tested it? The 6 piece just gives you EKSTRA crit damage, if u hs kill and stay zoomed. .. dosent say it removes the 4 piece bonus... hmmm .. gotta login in and test that....

What I mean is that the 4 piece, as it states "When zoomed, Marksmen rifles lose headshot bonus" but then the 6 piece has a buff that requires a headshot kill to activate. It's conflicting mechanics.

You lose the base headshot damage bonus through the 4 piece, yes. The 6 piece gives you further critical hit damage after you get a headshot. Just because the bonus to headshots is gone; doesn't mean that you can't get a headshot. I feel that you're missing out on substantial damage by not using the 6 piece. The best way for you to test this; is put on 6 pieces; headshot someone in cover, wait 5 seconds and then shoot someone again. Both shots should be critical hits but the second one assuming you hit them in the head with the first, will be a critical hit with 100% critical damage tacked on.

One problem is that there is not really a “crows nest” in the dz. Another is that adversaries are usually zig zagging as the approach or during skermishes with your squad members. This a good idea, bit really not practical. The whole Dead Eye should be retired. It definitely wont work in Underground or against Hunters. HOWEVER, I just really used this and was getting 660k+ shots!!!!

You're losing out on so much damage by running competent on your Carbon. Elevated provides so much more damage as the damage from elevated is multiplicitive whereas competent is additive damage. Also no need to run prepared on your SVD, use the Carbon at range and SVD up close.

you are right that elevated is superior damage, however I prefer to have my burst tied to a button press and not hinge on me climbing up on top of things thus restricting my mobility. Either works fine... i just prefer this way.

Upper Echelon Gamers True I understand that. When I'm up in DZ North I switch to my Deadeye just because there are so many spots for Elevated to work. DZ south is too flat and makes elevated not a great option.
