I know this is an old video, but 5 piece electronic nomad, with inventive backpack really works too. You lose out on a bit of skillpower, but the overheal, constant healing, health on kill and extra life you get from nomad really helps with survivability. Also, with the overheal, inventive is pretty much always active. This way when soloing, your recovery link only procs as a last resort.

What a coincidence...I run with the exactly same build and I underline every word you said. The only difference is my Barrett's Vest, but this is a personal preference and the lack of a proper Invintive Vest ;). Thx for another outstanding example of your work!. You are welcome. Try mixing in Predatory instead of Determined, but you get the basic idea.

Excellent build! I used it last night. It helped me complete the Time Square Legendary mission for the first time! I couldn't fully optimize the stats like you did but with 39% skill haste and 9600+ Electronics I was able to get the mission done. It took me a few tries...The final boss fight was quite hard. Turret and Weapon seemed more effective for him. Big thumbs up!

Good stuff. Pretty similar to me. I have 3400 firearms and 9500 electronics for 426K skill power and 314K toughness. I stuck with my Barrett's and Inventive. I also have SMG gloves and use a House with Competent and Talented. I have a 204 LVOA-C as a secondary with Ferocious,Destructive and Determined. It's fully optimized and actually hits elites for 20K non crits. This puts me at 47% DTE and 51% EAD. I got my Legendary Agent patch solo with this build ;) I would go with a classified Tactician vest but so far I have got five of them with stamina,+XP and all resist. Crafting materials. lol With Barrett's,you throw seekers first and then a turret or sticky and they both get the 10% since seekers don't go on cool down until the last one pops. Then it jumps straight to 5% damage mitigation while my skills cool down.

On of my weapons I keep predatory on sonic an stay topped off on health... should be interesting to see if I feel any difference because I am at 38 dte and 60 EAD, thing Rips through npcs while solo, or if you have another tac with you... I can see if it hits the same you have more weapon damage...

My sticky hits elites for 2.4 million and reds for 1.6 million. Except shield elites. Sometimes 1 million. Sometimes two. It's all seeker mine mods though. Clusters hit 140K impact and 130K bleed ticks. 200K if I start with a sticky and proc chain reaction.

I run a 229 acr as my main with destructive, ferocious and predatory; all talents active which helps. Also, I have 4 piece tacticians with accomplished knee pads (plenty of field proficiency caches). My build currently sits around 10k. Over with 5 piece tacticians, just under with accomplished. But still a superb gear set. My favourite!

I'm a huge skill power guy. I run a fire crest build that's almost all classified (missing gloves sadly) I agree about the backpack and chest. My turret damage is better with 5 FC and inventive backpack rather than 6 FC. I run fill electronics and skill power mods/stats and of course turret damage mods. Just need the gloves to fully make the build reach it's potential. Long time watch man. Love your videos.

I tend to favor a tactician build mainly because I play solo, and it offers the most survivability and lethality while working towards the end game. But the difficulty is always weapon talents, until I figured out I just had to farm high end weapons with the talent I wanted in the third slot, and that world tier 3 was hiding all my better options for AR’s (from another KZbin video; no way was I figuring that out myself). Tyvm for an easy to follow explanation and gameplay to prove it works. I also like how you swapped out for the turret depending on the stage of the mission, I guess my problem is weaning myself off of the support station 😂 Still working on getting geared up, so baby steps for me

I agree on Barrets chestpiece, I use a 204 gearscore weapon to be able to use almost any talent toward my skills which is more important than Gun damage. Also putting bleed resistance on is important since with you are in cover almost always and grenades are main enemy. Nice video !

Yep, mad props! The more I learn about this game, I see you have to either be a balanced player. Alternatively, strong DPS or strong healer. I get so frustrated when I play solo as a DPS player, when I get killed (too many NPCs at once). And that is because I don't use 'gadgets' I tend to go for high DPS, and take them down as quick as possible. Albeit, hard to keep up with the sheer volume of NPCs. Anyway, nicely done!

As a player that loves skill builds there two things I’d change the backpack for the 5% health with using skills because if you throw a turret down you get a lot of health back and the skill power is over the soft cap waste when you could of mod for firearms with skill haste to get talents on other weapons but good video

I read below that you now use the 204 -228 LVOA-C which I've also found is the way to go. Destructive/Ferocious for certain. For the third talent, I prefer Predatory (best in the free slot if stamina is low) for soloing. At or near 50% skill haste, I’ve found that Determined is not a significant factor/improvement. At around 450K skill power (which is also easy to reach with a few stacks if skill power is below 450K), Talented will also not increase damage significantly. You should consider some different gear calibrations and performance mods. Here your DTE is 28% and EAD is 34%. I run my Enemy Armor Damage at 61% and Damage to Elites at 57% which I think you will find to be a significant improvement to your build.

I’ve found being able to equip a Relentless backpack can be very useful - especially during solo Legendaries - And having Predatory and Competant and Determined on my secondary weapon all add to increased survivability ✌🏼enjoyed the vid as usual 👍🏼

I've messed around with Relentless and Vigorous gear pieces as well. It isn't the best build for staying completely on full health, but when it is completely charged up, it can absolutely wreck NPCs.

I currently have no classified as i have been away from the game since 1.2 and just recently returned. For a solo pve build, even the 4 piece non-classified is awesome. I currently have the 4 piece and chose a 2 piece nomad to get the 15% health on kill which helps a bit with being a squishy build. Cannot wait to get my hands on the classified version.

Classy versions take your main stats up from 1272 to 1401 and allow for two recalibrations, so you can really zero in on what attributes you need.

Sup man. I have been rewatching this. You're going to find this funny but I got the Firecrest, Strikers, Reclaimers, Tactician, Alpha Bridge, Predators Mark, all in Classified gears without grinding. They just came like leftovers and I kept them until I couldn't keep them in storage. I have dumped those pieces at my third agent and I'm now turning them into useful ways to take down NPC's

Yeap but Destr/Fer proc with seekers and sticky and you do a whole lot more damage. Tac fires for the skill buff and not the weapon damage, and still you have your secondary weapon, big All goes there for the 50% cover shooter buff.

well... imho ... a tactician like this NEEDS predatory on weapon, or at least 1stat rolled to HealthonKill. and even tho i dont like the idea of running around with lower-leveld weapons, i have to admit, equipping them to get access to the "destructive" weapontalent is mathematically an absolute musthave!(and a few other things but absolute case of *tl:dr*) but What ABSOLUTELY rocked, Mr. Lt Buzz Litebeer, was you and your presentation of the build. I most-lickely skip those parts, cuz im like "meh, i play since day1, what can he tell me-face **tactician4life" but longstory - short .... it was amazing, its always a pleasure to listen to your voice, relaxed, crisp&clear and competent. 665K when fully stacked , eh? Just a bit of waste going on there mate, 450k is the soft cap, anything over that isn't giving much benefit at all. All my Tacs (4 over 2 platforms) are just a tad over 450k and they rip through Legendarys with ease, so much so that I stopped doing them because they became so easy as to be boring lol. I have no Talented on the weaps, not needed with a 30 stack. They also have 2x 204 GS M4s with Destructive, Determined, Predatory/Ferocious (GS 204 to unlock Destructive). The ARs are there to get stacks *not* do damage, that is what the seekers/sticky/turret is for. The damage they do do is merely a bonus therefore the lower GS is of no consequence. That said still love ya work. Keep it up mate 07

Was thinking the same. This is a quite stupid build... Nothing beats Barrett, Ninja and 3 pieces Tactician with another piece of choice, e.g. Final Measure. That would be a really good Tactician build!

Agreed. It's a total waste. It would be better to just hit 9k and invest the rest in either stamina or firearms. And why not have a secondary and sidearm with unlocked talents? It's pretty easy to craft up some low gearscore weapons. At least then they'd have some utility. As it stands they are just kinda there occupying slots.

Lt Buzz Litebeer totally agree. It’s pointless having all that skill power with no benefit. If they don’t want to remove the soft cap then there should be a chance for the skills to reset with no cool down. Depending on electronics. Possibly not as high % as the reset of the reclaimer box or nomads, I imagine that would cause some serious complaints.

Love the build here, but out of curiosity, wouldn't a Relentless Backpack be more efficient in solo play? Because you're going to be doing a lot of damage with your skills (especially sticky) you'll be getting 5% of that damage in healing as well, giving you a healing option that isn't first aid and can still deal consistent damage.

If I get concerned about sustain and incoming damage, then yes, Relentless would be a good option. This build is purpose built to dish out as much damage via skills as possible, so I needed to go with Inventive.

I run a 204 AR with ferocious, destruct, and talented. And I use 204 Elec/4% DTE mods. I also have DTE and EAD in every place possible. But Tact is tricky.. not much survivability. I still think Pred and Striker is the absolute best classes for group PVE damage.

I have the exact same setup but i use sticky bomb damage mods along with barrets vest. With all that armor damage and skill power boost sticky bomb can 1 hit legendary enemies. Also with barrets you keep the bonus if u have skills active like cover or healing box because the cooldown hasnt started yet.

I do not not know if this already been said.... But insted of calling out this build as dum or stupid. You could just do some small tweaks and it would be as optimized a Tech build there is... First; Make a 229 assault rifle with Destructive, Ferosius(Sorry for bad spelling) and Detremind. (All the talent Count when you kill with your skills). Second; Do change you skillpower to EAD (Enemy Armour Dmg) on Mask and Knee. THAT way you Will not be crazy over soft cap but do more damage. I would say.. . DO this and your build is preatty good. The tactician is one of the builds you can really play around to have similar results with different builds. Most of the ppl are building it the way you do. I really don't like this approach (though the video is great :) ). First of you are really high in skill power but then your 610k + sticky does ~1,4mil damage where the 425k (soft cap) does ~1.2mil damage. The difference is very small and for you to get that extra 200k damage you have sacrificed any survivability that this build can have. If scaling would be better then i would accept that this is a great build. I am not saying that you cannot play with it but for me it's not the best way to build a tac. I understand again that most ppl prefer the 5 piece and inventive and perhaps its the best way to play it. However, i do like to play around with the builds so i ended it up with a fully classified build with 4k firearms, 4 stam and 8k electronics builds. Destructive, ferocious, talented in a 256 weapon. I can kill mobs with my guns and skill power lies at 325k and with 60 stucks hits a bit over soft cap allowing me to have a great sticky and great seekers to rotate. These also come with a very low cd so as soon as i am up to 60 stacks they are also ready to use. If i am in a group and there is no healer, then support station can do 22k healing per tick (with talented active) and cd is

Use low level weapons so you can activate all weapon skills. Have different weapon skills for different encounters. IF you are spending anytime using weapons you are wrong. Having destructive and ferocious is pretty much a must for the build. Easy way to hit 38% DTE and over 50% EAD

Tactician is in a really bad place right now. The classified set is a train wreck. The 6pc is garbage and shows how little the devs understand about the way the set is played. It moderately makes a hybrid build usable, but having a little more stam or firearms is a horrible trade for having to flip flop your skills, and keep them on cooldown while you try to get 60 stacks without getting melted. I find 5 pc with barrets more consistent than inventive, and allows for a more aggressive play style. Take one bullet of damage and you lose inventive. It's really easy to keep 30 stacks up running barrets and that easily outclasses inventive. If you are running seeker/ sticky drop the seekers first and then the sticky. The seekers don't count as on cooldown until they detonate, allowing you to use both skills with barrets bonus active. Still really missing out by not using lower GS ARs. The damage you get from destructive and ferocious is large. With a little juggling you could pull off 229 GS weapons with the classy set. The big thing that is killing this set though is the soft cap. It needs to be raised to 550 or 600 at least.

I tested with them and will try to clip you some of the results. Once charged up on 30 stacks, I can hit Elite NPCs for over 2.7 million with a Sticky Bomb BFB. Superior Mods with DTE are usually a good idea, but I can't hit for that much when I use them. Thanks as always for commenting on my vids!

HaanSolo is correct, stacking DTE and enemy armor damage allows you to allocate resources to something else if needed (firearms/stamina) without negatively affecting TTK. You also missed the fact you should be running Ferocious and Destructive on your firearm, they both proc using seekers and sticky. Talented is good and is a solid choice, but it does not proc unless you make a kill with your firearm and with your 3k firearms, that will be infrequent. Determined isn't going to give you much in the way of additional skill haste and its really a wasted weapon talent for a high electronics/high skill haste build. Having Ferocious in that third slot is a better call. Also, for survive-ability, you might be better served running Predatory, which is another talent that will proc with your seeker and sticky. Competent is a solid talent in most cases, but with your 3k firearms, it isn't going to make any different in your ability to kill with any firearm, your base damage is just too low, at least using the M4 platform. Of course to use these talents as stated, you would need to drop down to a 204 Assault Rifle, so that the talents are unlocked with your existing skill point allocations. If you move some points from electronics to stamina and a little to firearms, you could step up your weapon to a 229 (move 200 points to firearms to unlock Destructive) if you want to increase your weapon damage, but this isn't really necessary as your weapon is primarily being used to build your stacks, not kill NPC's. Although moving the points to stamina is going to keep you alive longer, especially when coupled with predatory, you can just as easily keep those points allocated to electronics. If you sit down and run all the numbers, factor in base AR enemy armor damage, your enemy armor damage from your gear, damage from Destructive and additional DTE from Ferocious and DTE mods (should be roughly 53% DTE +/-), you will come to the same conclusion. With it all said and done, you will see a small decrease in your numbers, especially if you move 1400 electronics moved to stamina and using purple DTE mods, but those numbers are not enough to affect the TTK in most scenarios. If you don't move the points to stamina, you only going to see a small drop to your Skill Power due to the purple DTE mods, but a large increase in your overall damage numbers.

I still prefer to use the Barrets + 5 pieces tac classified. I only go up to 9k electronics and the rest goes into firearms. I use sticky (1.3 million damage without stack or weapon talents activated) and use pulse (44%CHC and 44%CHD) that with my caduceus allows me to not only make lots of damage but also heels me noticeably. When in a group the healing applies to all members of the group and the pulse also making me very useful.

It could, but I am able to solo Legendaries just using medkits and the healing you get after clearing each section. This build is all about damage and how quickly you can get off of cooldowns and sending out more damage towards the NPCs.

It's a good build I use a vigorous backpack though. It useless to go past the 450k softcap on skill power the damage doesn't go up that much after that. About 420k is good enough then it goes up once you built the stack past 450k.

You are welcome and glad to help. In the Lexington clip, you see me hit the Heavy Gunner with the BFB to end the clip and he was pretty much on full health and armor. When you have the 30 stacks up, the BFB can hit hard even without sticky bomb damage mods.

My build is very close to yours, but I'm using the full 6-piece, and I rolled one piece for stamina. Honestly, with all six rolled skill power, I'm really surprised you're ever able to utilize the Inventive backpack bonus. Even with the one piece of extra stamina on my build, I'm almost never at full health on Legendary. I get bursted down so fast it's ridiculous. I can't imagine what it would be like with even less stamina. And I totally agree about the 6-piece bonus. It's very gimmicky, and worse, very limiting. Plus, with such low stamina, I can't be hanging out of cover trying to get 60 hits. If you ask me, they badly need to rework the 6-piece bonus.

One of the drawbacks of running a high electronics build is the weapons talents. To offset this I've seen many people as well as myself run lower gear score weapons so that the weapon talent requirements are lower. Since you know the mechanics of the game so well I was wondering what your take on this was. Is it simply a trade off for a less powerful weapon or does having the talents activated help enough to be worth it? I like running a Nomad build spec'd into electronics. Not as powerful as the Tact but I'm less squishy which I need.

I've dabbled around with lower gear score weapons and they do work, but I don't like the trade-offs for less damage, etc. If you want to use 256 gear score weaponry and have weapon talents unlocked, you could run the Electrabridge build and have the best of both worlds.

Quite possible they would do well. However, the maximum Superior Gear Mod can only reach 214 Electronics versus a High End Mod at 267. I've never tested it, but that translates to a 1590 loss in Skill Power per mod.

After 450,000 skill power you get diminishing returns, also called the soft cap. If you look at the damage numbers on your seekers you will see that you don`t gain a worth while increase in damage after 450,000 skill power A better option is to aim for 450,000 skill power with 30 stacks and put the extra skill power into Firearms or Stamina, equipping a Relentless back pack might just reduce it enough and give heath on kill. Ferocious is an excellent talent to use for a Tac Build. Since this video, I have switched over to custom-crafted LVOA-Cs with Destructive, Ferocious and either Determined or Talented. Flame turret is great at crowd control and I use it from time to time, but mostly with FireCrest (for obvious reasons). The turret can help build up your Tac stacks and has more range, so it is always a good combo.

Yes, the turret pairs well with this build. It will help you build up stacks and can chew up NPCs in the lower to mid waves on Resistance, which can save you ammo for later rounds.

Really!?! I never noticed the difference, since it's inception I've used both and never noticed it. Just a suggestion tho. Since you have a strong following. I was going to make a video on it myself but don't have an active channel. People don't make Many meta breaking build videos. And I think the game is so diverse right now that many hybrid builds work. Especially sets that don't seem like they pair well. I thought that ninja bike plus 3 sentry, 2 hunters faith with a shotgun with optimal range mods to mark, and the house to finish. That would make the house more accurate the reticle smaller on the shot gun. and the damage drop off better von SMGs. Both are sniper sets it comes with the stigma of sniping. Most don't even use in PvP situations but I tend to find this build amazing in PvP. When finished the shotgun should have 30 meters range and the SMG on par with assault rifle range. I watched hours of your videos and many hours of others and never have I seen anyone consider putting these two sets together. And I'm sure there's a lot of people that have hunters faith and Century lying around, thinking that it's strictly sniping sets. 30% accuracy 20% optimal range, the ability to mark, and a combined 20% headshot damage baked in from both sets. You can bind us all together it takes the two weapon archetypes that's affected most by Optimal range and effectively makes them stronger at distance and up close. FYI I love your content. I just wish I saw more build diversity videos and less showing off of what people actually have.

Lt Buzz Litebeer Not to sound totally arrogant, because believe me I have no ego to entertain, but I put together some mean ninja bike build. I have a particular attachment to your KZbin channel. I also use it as a toll. I use it as a reference when I'm trying to explain how certain things are in the game. I also like off meta builds. I made a nomad skill build with 40% skill haste. 4000 firearms, 5400 stamina, and skill power rolls everywhere I can. It's similar to the final measure healer but with triage an overdose. With skill power and skill haste it adds to the sustained of the build. 4000 Firearms is enough to unlock the damage talents, at 5400 stamina is enough to stay alive until you pop overdose or blow up your support station. This is nothing like anyone is building and very strong in PvP and PVE. And as a matter of fact you can swap out one piece run a 5 piece with a Relentless backpack. Allowing you to get health on damage from Seeker mine and sticky bomb, and proc Health on kill in the process. This is something you won't find a build video on. but it's definitely fresh and something that I'd like to see from content creators. I change the name of my KZbin channel and I plan on doing my own videos. I spend enough time showing people the the ins and the outs in real time. Why not have something to show for it by making a video. I know one thing I do refer a lot of people to your videos because you are thorough and a lot of your videos stand the test of time. Many content creators Rush build videos straight off the pts and don't realize after 70,000 views later, people are still watching those videos. I encourage everyone not to completely carbon copy builds from KZbin.

A PvE build that doesn't use Destructive or Ferocious but uses a Sticky Bomb? Nah I'll stick with what I'm using. Nice talents on the Liberator, though. At least you'll get some benefit from Pulse, though I think you'd build stacks much faster if your build leveraged a shotgun, especially a Showstopper. EDIT: Still gonna upvote, though. I may prefer my own setup but that's still a solid build for anyone with the pieces. More than one way to skin a Riker, after all.

Very true. ARs have baked in EAD, which is inherited by some of your skills. However, you can get more EAD if you're using a lower gearscore gun with lower talent unlock requirements because you can run Destructive. That makes a gearscore 204+ or 229+ AR a better stat stick than a gearscore 256+ like his Liberator. Also, since us Tacs are squishy there's more risk in running an AR because you're exposing yourself to fire. A shotgun will stagger an enemy and does way more damage.
