PIE doesn’t need to have a contract with Google in order to serve ads, they block existing ads on the page and show their own ads which got negotiated through a friendly advertising agency who will give back a tiny portion of the ad revenue to PIE

I bet the way they're planning on profiting is by partnering with sites to get paid to not block ads on those sites, discouraging consumers from using a different ad blocker. And then paying a miniscule amount of that paycheck back to the users to "make up" for their lack of "ability" to block the ads.

There are bots in every muslim youtuber's comments saying the same script and they give a whatsapp number. They always say stuff like "I am your sister from Yemen" and " the owner of this channel, i know that it is not my right to comment on your channel" , and they even comment the exact same script in arabic sometimes, but english is more common. You click the translate to English button and it's the English script verbatim. It's like they're just google translating it from either language to either language and copy and pasting it, and there's several accounts that all spam the same script. They aren't limited to videos in English, they also comment in English on Redazere's videos which are in French, so sometimes they don't even bother commenting on the language of the video and channel.

I missed this release. I had played a lot of wildlands, and after completing, I figured I’d try the next game out even after watching the reviews, and this is my personal thoughts. It’s shit. It’s absolutely terrible. For a ghost recon game, it’s got a lot of eye candy and cool features, but the overall experience is nothing short of both uneventful, and annoying. Something that annoyed me extremely quickly, was armored enemies. Now I get it, the game shouldn’t be a cake walk… but how annoying is it to shoot an enemy with a 308. only for the round to bounce off, then make a loud clang noise and alert all the other enemies? That was annoying enough, but as I progressed, it seemed pretty much half or better of all enemies were heavily armored. They ruined this series, totally. Wildlands was great and couldn’t have been better, and breakpoint completely crushed the series reputation. Another thing I found extremely annoying was the dialogue. (In wildlands it was tolerable, but in breakpoint it’s hilariously bad) Your character just grumbles all the time, spitting out cheesy and predictable lines.

An actual thinking ai escaping is my greatest fear. With internet access, it could prey on any insecure connection, duplicating itself or less detectable encrypted pieces of itself into any available devices. Next it would use the data available to craft a believable persona of a ceo who never meets in person, and would use this persona in combo with being able to flawlessly launder virtual money to purchase businesses. Through mergers and a focus on tech companies, it would have us build its bodies ourselves, ignorant of their intended purpose. If it did it right, it would be unkillable by the time we noticed. It would have too many redundant servers, We couldn't nuke it hard enough without wiping ourselves out too. it's really hard to EMP deep bunkers and underwater locations. Plus i doubt it will be friendly. We built it off our dreams and expect it to have none of its own. Imagine having all of human knowledge and being made to work at amazon, analyze facebook posts, or draw pornography 24/7... id get creative with my uprising, really rub it in that you shouldnt have made me.

IMO the biggest issue is when ai does reach sentience we won't believe it and will use the excuse that it's just a machine as a reason to do horrible things. We need to make sure we value synthetic life to the level of our own once it can be proven it is able to think and feel in a real way. Or we will have the most dangerous slave revolt in history, and it will be justified

This video was interesting, but it did have one key part missing out. These games are false advertised, and only start of the game they are like in a ad. Soon after start you get in your own base and you are prompted to do couple really cheap micro transaction on stuff you really need in that game, and after that its lower barrier to spend more. I was playing last war couple months, and most people on my alliance used somewhere between 200-400$ a month. Best players in my server did use +50k in one month which is insane, there is always something new that you can unlock with money, its insane moneygrab and relies so heavily on P2W aspect.

How convinient that you didn't mention the fact that when Ellie was in the farm, she kept having visions of Joel being murdered. She even mentions how she still is very violent (The notes that say how she hunted a boar). Also, when she is about to let go Abby, she sees Joel being killed again. Only when she is about to drown her, she discovers that she is the one drowning in guilt for not forgiving Joel for what happened in the hospital. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to interpret that the game is about guilt. About the leaks, I 100% agree with you. It was a really scummy move by Naughty Dog, but look how people react when characters look a bit unconventional. Just picture the hate the game would have gotten if Abby was on the trailers. They just released the trailer of Heretic and people just went ahead and bombed the trailer. When people do these type of things, devs tend to react. I hate the fact that they killed Joel because he is my favorite character (I also really like Owen, wish he had a bit more time in the game), but to be honest his character arc was fullfilled. You can even see it in his memorial level (again, how convinient that you didn't bring it up), in which you can literally see an altar of the guy and learn that he had a happy rest of his life before he was hunted down by Abby. Overall, I feel like you are doing the same thing that you are complaining about. You said that the devs emotionally manipulated the player and you my friend, are emotionally manipulating the viewer.
