When one understands the whole structure of the ego, everything else that one has been holding on to for so long, collapses. The seeing of the observer as the observed becomes so clear. What we are then left with is….surrender. For only in surrender awareness can come in. When there is total awareness perhaps there can be order, love and right action.

I,who observe my psychological structure, am not separate from this structure. So the “thing” that I observe is me. That implies there is a me and something other (subject of observation). But that’s not the case there is only me, I observe me… The observer (me) IS the observed (psychological structure). So, only way to go deeper is SILENCE. Just being aware, observe as a choiceless awareness. Observing without judging, naming, inner talk etc.

I get it where he is getting at the I is non existent but we are comforting ourselves in illusion of I and saying being aware we identifying ourselves and there is duality in that awareness creating a duality among the observer and observed which is the same infact but in other words if the I is illusion and real truth is non-existent then it can also be said as I exist everywhere it's us it's nature and we are conditioned from childhood to believe that I is soul or something real and not an illusion so the ego was born and entire life we live in duality we feed our duality and then ask why are we in pain conflict hypocrites is what we are actually . 🌚

If so in that awareness is there a duality??? --- I and I am aware of that, I am aware of that structure --- is duality --- or Structure itself is Me. I and That is one and same -- I am that. You, your identity, your memories = thought. When anger/ego arises (present thought, observed) YOU (thought from the past, observer) observe it as if it (anger/present thought) is separate from YOU. Hence observer is the observed. It is all thought

It is due to the seriousness of the matter. He knows the end to suffering of mankind starts with a single being. You can feel his compassion for the world in the way he almost cries when silencing someone. It is of utmost importance yet people are finding ways to go around it and don't see what effect it would have on them and the world if they would stare into it themselves.

The false self project everything good of others to them. And everything bad of them to others. For this false self create counter emotions, thoughts. Eastern philosophy, we call it duality. There are three levels to be free from uncounscious false self. Nothingness is basic and first level. There are two (not one as you think)more advanced levels. Mirroring comes under basic level of nothingness.

Consider an actor in a play, he has an identity he takes on that is seperate from his 'more real' life, off-stage. If he is aware he is an actor, he can observe himself. Any identity, feeling, idea you can observe separately, is not the real you. Keep looking within, peeling away anything that appears seperate and changing. Find the single, continuous sense of your existence, completely free of any mood, feeling, limits, name, meaning, form, description, ect. 😉
