General Peled clearly stated that contrary to claims made later, the 1967 war was one of choice, and Not because there was an existential threat to the state of Israel. General Peled then dedicated his life to the achievement of Israeli Palestinian peace. His father must be so proud of him. Or maybe he is another self hating Jew !!

Through Zionism, the Jewish people sought to rebuild and restore the their national homeland in Palestine. Colonialism means that colonialists leave their mother country and establish settlements for the mother country in places to which they have no historical connection to. Israel is just the opposite it. Jews are restoring their national homeland, the antithesis of colonialism.
