When the Struggle is real, it's really real! The Long Stretch Series is one of the biggest, toughest, and most necessary series on the #Reformer. It includes the Long Stretch, Down Stretch, Up Stretch, Elephant, and Long Back Stretch. In this week's collaboration with Andrea Maida Pilates, we discuss what to do when these exercises are just too tough. After covering each of these exercises, I also discuss exercises you can do to get better at each one of these and therefore making the whole series more doable! #PilatesLongStretch

Are you on the first gear?

Yes Mary, I typically do my entire Long stretch series in first gear even on an 80". I just put my feet a little higher up the headrest. If someone is a little taller than me (5'10") then I might gear them out. Just be sure to gear them back in for using straps
