Fanon will or should always surpass Canon. If it doesn't that is a bad Fanon or a really great Canon... The roles can be reverse however maybe it being Bad as a Canon could make it harder to improve and maybe it being a good Fanon just means it doesn't have much to work or misses the point although wouldn't that just be the same thing I guess it depends on how you are looking at it. = Fanfics already have the base to build off of so it makes sense they can write a better version as Sakura improves overtime and all you need to do is write a backstory or give her a reason to be slightly different end up becoming closer to that and have a more natural path and finally having the conclusion. I don't think I've seen a single fanfic that does that well but what do I know huh? == I know a lot of fanfics that Bash Sakura, Hiashi, Fugaku, Sasuke, Itachi, and more... So I would say fanfics portray these characters as worse sometimes...

@@tasleem5677 NO! Fanon should always surpass Canon because it builds off it. It doesn't take the effort to completely make the story it's already made. It simply edits and changes to their will. It's like me saying that New Recipies should surpass old ones or that Humanity should improve the current technology. Because the old ones already exist. If you somehow have a dedicated and big fan base that can see the flaws and change things making their own fan stories and literally all of them suck and don't even reach 1% of the original work's ability well that's just trash. Also Hinata also kind of sucks. As well as a lot of characters who were wasted. A lot of things didn't get to be shown. Their is more flaws than Naruto than just Sakura or how the community views them either because they don't like their Manga personality or their Anime personality and all those fillers which corrupted and honestly possibly to a degree destroyed the series. Not even the Filler arcs but the filler and interpretation of the original work.

I honestly forgot about her not destroying obito's eye. It's even more baffling when you consider that aside from kakashi (who had emotional ties to obito), sakura had NO reason to hesitate. All she knew was that obito was probably the most notorious criminal in the world, excluding madara. Hell, if she REALLY didn't want to stab his eye within the socket, then use medical ninjutsu to pluck it out and just throw it over the edge of a Kamui dimension cube. I could be wrong but those pits look bottomless.

@@razkable There are a ton of "yikes" moments for sakura's character post Sasori fight. Half the time they intentionally make her inconsiderate or downright unintelligent and then they expect us to take her seriously and put her on Naruto and Sasuke's level. I have no issue with sakura being propped on that pedestal on paper. The problems come from the writers doing this after brutally murdering her character with that "I love naruto" bs.

My problem with Sakura is that there entire character is based around Sasuke. Why did she even want become a Ninja in the first place? She never had any motivation towards trying to be one until the forest of death. You could remove Sakura from part 1 and very little changes, she has almost no impact on the story whatsoever unlike the others in team 7 in part 1. In part 2 it was nice to see Sakura grow up a little bit but what ruined it for me is that like you said she is just a Tsunade Clone. Nothing unique about her other than her relationship with team 7. Naruto and Sasuke also learned from the sannin but they became stronger than the master by inventing new jutsu (Kirin and Rasenshuriken) or mastering what they couldn't (Sage Mode) and even then they progressed further as the story continued, Sasuke got the MS then EMS then finally Rinnegan, while Naruto got KCM, KCM2, Hagoromo Amp. What did Sakura get? Nothing, she is a literal clone of Tsunade with their personality being the only difference. It doesn't help that all of Sakura's development pretty much happens off screen or the few scenes that she has are boring as fuck. She just isn't a very likeable character. The whole abuse thing is usually accepted in other characters (Nami from One Piece for example.) because they are interesting or have an impact on the story or have redeeming qualities.

This just makes everything she does in the Sasori fight, just cringe. @@New_Horizons I don't think that is completely the case even if the fight was just Chiyo Sasori's reputation likely wouldn't have been good because people can't look past the surface and many don't powerscale that's likely why they might think Hinata just kinda bodies Sakura in later times or not understanding how far characters like Sasori or even the main characters can do. They probably would think Sasuke might lose to Kakashi and Guy but that's a hard question in some cases and depending on the time period.

All of this could have STILL been redeemed a little had sakura said no to marrying sasuke. I feel like Sakura could have been fine...if she had been designated to a side-character rather than one of the main three characters. I wouldn't have complained if she had as much screentime as, say, Rock Lee or Shikamaru; but she is so deeply involved in the story despite expressing a lack of complexity and nuance. I feel Kishimoto made a mistake early on by not including Hinata as Naruto and Sasuke's teammate, considering she's Naruto's main love interest and she expresses potential for characterization that Sakura lacks. If Hinata was given more time to develop, I think the fanbase would like her more. It's just a shame that Sakura hogged all the screentime when no one feels she deserves it.

I always thought hinata is better to be in team 7. Good background story- an outcast in hyuga clan. Then her goal is to be worthy as heiress to change the clan system. She also meet hamura otsutsuki, its same with naruto and sasuke meeting hagoromo. Imagine if she was trained by Tsunade? Hyuga, Uchiha and Jinchuriki in team 7. OP as hell. Her and sasuke had a lot of similarities. As for love triangle- it will be good. Sasuke and Hinata's personalities are common in shojo. I can see sasuke liking her bec atleast shes not an annoying fangirl. But I can also see Hinata fighting Sasuke without hesitation for the sake of Naruto. We can have our hyuga vs uchiha battle too.

Naruto has this thing and I think I can say it without completely taking Swagkage's words... Where the main characters have to be powerful in a way and the side gets left behind. Forget Kakashi possibly having bias towards his students no it's Kishimoto having Bias towards certain characters and the rest get left in the dust. Was her team like maybe Lee, Kiba, and Neji? Lee hasn't been relevant to Sasuke ever since part 1 in the Gaara fight when he copied his speed and even hit harder than his gates... Neji gets bodied the moment a Mangekyo gets pulled out and Kiba is full of wasted potential. = Especially for plot it's obvious Sasuke wasn't gonna die. Honestly funnily enough her knocking out her team might have actually been positive as within a no plot armor situation Sasuke just kills them all with maybe Sakura surviving the longest.

Yea. Sakura should have been handled better. There are tidbits of development here and there. What's really understated - but is there - is the friendship that grows between Naruto and Sakura post wave mission. Sakura nearly throws in the towel during the first chunin exam part because she can't bear the thought of Naruto's dream of becoming Hogake being crushed. She chews out Sasuke and says Naruto is way braver then him (Orochimaru fight). Sakura really is Naruto's biggest cheerleader in the Naruto vs Kiba fight. All of these are signs that Naruto and Sakura are slowly getting along. Not romantically, but just as teammates and friends. I think one more genuine scene between them to just focus on that would have gone a long way. And Sakura does 'attempt' to stand up to partially transformed Gaara at one point. She fails at this, of course, but it shows that for all her faults, bravery isn't one of them. I've read some analysis of Sakura (that I believe) that the fallout between Ino and Sakura wasn't just about Sasuke. Sakura used to be a very shy girl who was bullied, and Ino took her under her wing. Sakura eventually learned to stand on her own and Ino kind of didn't like that, since she liked Sakura relying on her. Ino even has a line in the flashback saying 'I wish you'd stayed like that forever' (not an exact quote). I really don't mind that Sakura isn't powerful. She's on a team with two legends. I'm fine with Sakura being the 'everyman' perspective. I just wish it was handled better. And I really, really, wish she'd have gotten over Sasuke. The stuff with Obito's eye, I think, is different from what you describe. That event didn't take nearly as long 'real time'. Madara is just so mush faster that he shows up before Sakura can stab forward. Cuz he's Madara.

I think this comment is actually really good and I wanted to point out the Madara scene like you did because compare Baryon mode in the Anime(I know they add a lot) vs the manga. So 8 Gates might be a better comparision where the Anime seems like it lasts a long time but it doesn't. That scene could be like it as well... Goku vs Frieza(Same with Baryon mode) When these characters move so fast the anime just kinda never shows it. I think that's another negative about Sakura how the Anime portrays her although some of these false "shippers" might disagree...

This would've redeemed her character and made her likable. In the beginning of Shippuden I was going in trying to like her after hearing all the hate she got from my friends, and she even seemed promising when we saw how far she and Naruto had progressed. Her fight with Sasori was making me think she'd be more likeable as well. Although, I had already lost hope by the end of the EIGHT EPISODE battle with like 33% of it being them standing around and making obvious observations.

I really feel that Sakura would have benefitted as a character if Kishimoto ever showed her falling out of love with Sasuke, considering all the times he looked down on her. I really don't know how he justified in his head to have Sakura keep loving Sasuke, even after Sasuke tried to axe her off multiple times with 0 regret/care. I wish there had been a Sakura focused arc between the 1st periode and shippuden where she 1) stops having feelings for Sasuke and becomes her own person whoms whole identity/existence doesn't revolve around him, and 2) realices she's going to have to rely/focus on herself as her teacher is busy only focusing on her team mates, and said team mates are always off getting stronger on their own. It would have been so satisfying to see Sakura roll up her sleeves, say "f you all" to her team mates and teacher, and grow strong on her own and become a respectable, independent ninja in her own way using her IQ, observation skills, quick thinking/reaction, battle analytics skills, genjutsu talent, water and earth based jutsus and chakra control. An arc such as that could also have served to show how characters in this world who doesn't come from any spesific clan, and also doesn't have anything unique about them that makes them stand out as an individual, have to struggle more and isn't as recogniced, but instead ignored/put to the side as they don't have anything flashy about them that promises them a great future. Just imagine a version of Naruto where Sakura realices how toxic Sasuke is, and how down right dangerous he has become after the timeskip, and then focus on having her improve herself/her other skills, instead of just having her be the cliche "person in love" trope whom, because of said cliche/trope, ignores all the massive, red flags thrown her way! Sakura could have been such a good opponent to Sasuke, using her own battle analytics skills against his, using her earth and water elemental jutsus to counter the Chidori and fire based jutsus, along with her genjutsu skills to counter the Sharingan, and keeping herself and Naruto healed as Sasuke tracks their punches/kicks. Kishimoto gave her all these advantages, and then throws it all to the side so that he can have her go "Oooo Sasuke, have my babies" whenever she's around Sasuke instead!

Why I hate Sakura 1: Naruto saves Sakura Sakura: thanks Sasuke 2: the endless times Sakura beats on Naruto for no reason. I know now that this was supposed to be comedy but for someone like me who was bullied during my childhood, this triggers my rage. 3 : the endless simping after Sasuke. 4: Sakura: alright I finally caught up to the rest of team 7. Now I can jump into this fight. What can go wrong? Two seconds later,needs saving 5: the fake love confession. I could go on but then this would be really long. I do like a lot of the girls of Naruto and wish that they got more awesome moments. The fact that Kishimoto wrote so many interesting girls tells me that he can write good female characters. The problem is that they got forgotten about or overshadowed by something else. So now I turn to fanfics to get more on these amazing characters. Characters like Anko Miterashi or Yugao can become so much more in the right story.

I don't know why people talk about the Sakura and granny Chiyo fight vs Sasori as if they really won the fight, Sasori basically had to lose the fight on purpose to ensure that two of the main characters don't die which is Sakura and Gaara because to be honest even after the fight granny Chiyo should have been dead from the poison which means that Gaara should have died as well, so there was nothing special about them winning that fight.

My issue with Sakura is that she is boring. No backstory, no clan depth, nothing. Her thing with Ino just was no where near as interesting or held the same weight as Sasuke's goal or what justified Naruto's. Sakura just does not interest anyone and making her super strong never added actual depth to her characterization, it just made her physically stronger. Its how you poorly write "strong female characters." Her only source of conflict is just being unable to do anything and being upset that Sasuke isn't there with her. Even though, her reason for liking Sasuke (while forgivable in the early episodes) just stayed superficial and surface level. She also has no independent character motives at all.

Sakura is the most out of place member in Team 7 since she still has a family, but she was willing to abandon them in Part 1 to help Sasuke on his revenge quest just shows how terrible written she is as a character.

To be fair to Sakura the rest of team 7 are literally reincarnations of Gods like Indra and Ashura, she might be an excellent ninja but she is still a normal ninja without divine origins like Naruto and Sasuke and Tsunade is pretty good female character and Hinata is good but lacks screentime, The real problem with sakura is that she is a side character thats been put into a main heroines place and we don't get HinataxNaruto flushed out due to this, Hinata is deeper character than Sakura, eg. I started reading Naruto in 2004 and watching it in 2006. I have read Naruto and Shippuden and watched the anime adaptations multiple times over. Not once during any of that did I ever have a problem with Sakura. In fact, I didn't even realize that she was so heavily disliked until I began absorbing content like this over a decade later. I still don't fully understand it. Did she frustrate me as a character at times? Yes. Did that make her so much more unlikeable than anyone else in the series or just generally unlikeable by the end of the series? No. Would she generate less hate if she was a male character? Probably. The Male-Female distinction doesn’t matter for Sakura, in fact most female characters in Naruto(Tsunade, Konan, etc) are either beloved or pretty well liked. The problem is that characters like Chiyo act like female characters while Sakura acts like Kishimoto-sensei was filling a gender quota. Your opinions are your own and not a problem, but I have no idea why you’d presume Sakura is more disliked because she’s female. Likewise, many consider Tsunade to be a joke of a Hokage and a one trick pony. When a male character is emotional they’re ‘crybabies’ or ‘edgy’ but females can act that way. The Male should definitely punch that asshole even though the Female would be in infintely more in character to do so. Sadly, this would just make the fandom hate Sakura more. I haven’t really seen anyone in most fandoms act that way except the 12 year olds still saying things like “Luffy/Naruto can definitely beat Goku” that are incapable of understanding power has nothing to do with how good a story is. Konan is treated that way because of how she was fodderized against Base Jiraiya(Who was terrible match-up so it wasn’t as bad as anti-feat as most people treat but fairs fair), 10-minute nuking is prep time attack and Obito was playing around so they didn’t really help her rep either. Hidan at least has a cool showing. But most power scalers I’ve seen dumpster Hidan as the weakest member so I guess it must have just been the early Naruto Fanbase. People treat Tsunade as a joke of a Hokage because she’s the weakest(Except maybe *Sharinganless Kakashi* who has all the phys feats of War arc with better stamina) since the other Kage are *Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen, Minato and Naruto* who are all bloody stupid OP monsters. Her other showing were against Armless Orochimaru(Who handled 4-tails V2 Naruto but that came later) in Part 1 and *Madara* who’s *Madara* - Not exactly the best showings either. Haven’t seen anyone call Tsunade weak though. Wasn’t around for Early Naruto so I imagine they treated her like TotallyNotMark who has the only known blind review. Then whatever the hell happened in Samurai Land happened followed by hindsight kicking in.

The reason for the hatred towards Sakura is very clear. And it's fun. 😂 I’m not too lazy to list them. Sakura has no dojutsu or kekei genkai and has leveled up to kage. How dare she? Other clan hime bite the dust after her. Most of the guys in the manga wanted Sakura, wrote her love letters and protected her, considering her strong and beautiful. It's a shame for Hinata, Ino, etc. The main character is in love with Sakura, whom she dared not reciprocate. Indeed, how dare she love her rival, and have her own interests that do not revolve around the interests of the protagonist. Sakura is happy with her family, husband and daughter and has become a specialist, how dare she when the other Hokage wive are cleaning the toilet at this time. This is offensive to Naruto fans. The conclusion is simple. Naruto fans do not like Sakura because she did not fall under Naruto and is loyal to her Rival, who is a strong and handsome man. Sasuke's fans don't like Sakura because she dared to take Sasuke for herself. Hinata fans don't like Sakura because Sakura is Naruto's first love and dares to be stronger than any princess. Overall I think at first I misjudged this video and maybe like quite a few I really should stop running away if I truly disagree with something in a way where I want to respond instead of doing the strongest form of hate or dislike then I should just follow the path I wish to go. Although I can't blindly follow my heart or my mind as my heart lacks intelligence and my mind is still foolish and sometimes pure intel doesn't lead you everywhere... I've said it before I'll say it again, I don't like Sakura, she is narratively useless, annoying, and some of the things she does is just bad. That being said though I wish I liked her, she's the main girl of the story I like, a shounen no less, she has a lot of potential and I like the role she should play in Team 7, it just all either goes nowhere or it goes badly. I feel like I should outline how much I like the role she seems to be made to play for a second, she's the sane everyman of Team 7, the one that keeps the guys grounded in there worse moments, healing them and providing some muscle and technical knowledge where they need it. It's just never a thing that becomes important.

I don't know why your opinions are swayed this way I don't think in the overall narrative that she is useless as I feel without her and without certain changes a lot of things might have ended differently and a lot of people would have died. What most I assume and you are looking at is the negative points that also might have another narrative argument around them to why they end up like that... The only time she heals a character taht matters to the story is Hinata, after Pain squashed her, but he revived everyone anyway so doesn't matter, and she kept Naruto's heart beating, when there were a bunch of other medics around thus she wasn't needed again. I am defining 'sane' mostly how it's set up int he first few chapters. She was the normal one, not traumatized or with some crazy goal. Not sane as in medically. The last though is just a reductive take. Yes there's a lot of hate for Sakura just because people want to hate her, and I find a lot of the opposite is true as well, people defending her just to be contrary or just because they feel like they like her so they need to. But I've been pretty clear on my reasonings and it's not even like I hate her. I don't like her but she's not a character I dislike. In fairness there's only like 3 characters in this story I can say I just flat dislike, Danzo(for actually damaging the story telling by being so bad at his job), Black Zetsu(just got annoying), and Hinata(stalker that also does almost nothing, with no chemistry with her romantic partner, and no arc outside of him). I think many might dislike Sakura and like Hinata or almost everyone because of not only the community but that past of "shipping". When I was in those wars back in the day I didn't like Sakura and didn't have enough info to understand anything beyond the fact that the child with Naruto I thought would be weaker... I was clearly wrong about that with how they ended up doing things but who knows maybe I'll revisit that topic in the future if I make this a video... So this is the first part of the rollercoaster I mentioned. Where I feel in that past or those who still have connections might equivalate liking Sakura into shipping them with Naruto or being closer or on that side and not on any of the other sides... =============== Now to bring up a few points I mentioned before. @ The meme: I feel like not only the dislike of Sakura and the "Shipping-" *I put it in quotes for a reason. -likely affected Sakura and that fanbase quite greatly because it continued such a trend and many people who don't know anything about the series like I used to and could get swept up eventually might find themselfs believeing in the meme or spreading it. That line of if you spread a lie enough people will believe it as the truth might work here although in this case I don't know if this was meant to have the same effect to where the meme is still talked about today and while some might be joking it's actually hard to tell who is joking and who might not know vs who genuinly believes Sakura is useless.... - @ The hate: I really don't know if the hate would be that much less knowing how people react and this "Shipping" situation I have mentioned as many might still bring up her from part 1 and such things in order to defend their "ship" or their idea of the series. While I do agree it might be less I think such things might have added up overtime or it might have been more similar than most expect... I mean as I've seen with Boruto some people are still hating on Sakura and maybe that's some past stuff although I feel like... And I don't really want to say this but I think a lot of people in this world are stupid... I feel that's why Sasuke got a bit of hate after the Itachi reveal and some of this stuff and near the end as well and I've seen takes like "Oh Sasuke didn't have to be evil at the end and all of this stuff they just wanted and excuse to make a fight and show ultimate moves." So I think Sakura would have to be done to near perfection for her to not have been an issue for many and even then I doubt a character exists that someone can't hate... Or a person like that. I've constantly hated people just because others act like no one can hate them and that aura kinda is hateable sometimes I know it might just me being a Tsundere or something or just illogical although feelings don't have to run off logic. - @ The confession: Personally my view of this scene is the Author trying to convey a few points. 1: Sakura getting over Sasuke a bit. 2: Sakura being determined to Kill Sasuke. 3: Alerting Naruto. 4: Making Naruto kinda look smart or making Sakura look dumb. 5: Possibly showing the potential of Naruto and Sakura as a couple. I do agree it fails on a few of these points if not all of them and could have been handeled better although I think I've explained why Sasuke just becomes a beast and why killing him likely wouldn't happen for plot and lore purposes of the story as they are a very important character especially if a poison Kunai would even work on him with all that possible res... Even if they don't have as much res I doubt it would have ended well for Sakura knowing how powerful that Sasuke was becoming. While Kakashi might come I don't know if Naruto would follow although maybe he would. I might have to watch it again although that's if even Kakashi knows... I might have more concrete points once I like have to re-watch the entire series of like 700+ Episodes or something like that in order to gain Info as well as a lot more things. ================ Sigh I think I'm done for now as the video is over and I can't really explain much. I guess besides the fact that I used to be on the NaruHina side if you would call it that I feel more like I was manipulated maybe I could explain if replied to what I mean by this idea of false "Shipping" and how that's what I kinda did for the most part and what I feel others do. While I disagree with some of the opinions of how others would try to fix Naruto I think many can agree that near the end of Naruto it kinda felt rushed or at least maybe in shippuden or maybe the entirety of Naruto felt a bit rushed... That's likely because Kishimoto introduces so much stuff that we don't get explained until later... Such things and concepts have people asking so many questions about the series and when they get explained by the time of that if they ever do get explained another question might arise. Kekkei Genkai's and the possible ideas or retcons of the Show that might be confirmed or unconfirmed being some of those... - Let me stop if I continue rambling further my accuracy will falter and I won't be saying anything.

Because People need to separate their personal self insert and incel vibes from their analysis of Sakura's character and yet that’s completely impossible for 90% of naruto fans and fanboys. Self-inserters have this idea in their heads because character that are nice guys and protagonists automatically deserves a harem. Self inserts say Sakura should have gone with Naruto or Lee which would be forced but they say that because they were nice guys. Naruto is marketed towards a particular audience and that audience like to see a female character love and choose the Main Character as they see themselves as that character and hate the idea of the female character loving and married the flawed Rival who she pardoned instead the Nice guys. Sakura always cared for Sasuke because it was a central goal for her throughout the story. This is established early on in the manga. At least Sakura didn't forgive every criminal she encountered. Her focus was specifically on saving Sasuke Naruto's case is even worse. He did choose to forgive and even befriend characters like Gaara, Obito, Nagato and others criminals. This is insane. If Sakura is considered bad because she forgave and continues to love Sasuke, Naruto is thousands of times more poorly written. He called Obito, the guy who killed his father, mother, Neji and thousands of people the coolest guy, defended him, and still felt sad about his death also he is much more obcessed with Sasuke. The only type of Sakura hater that i respect are the ones who hates Naruto's character too. These group are the most rare ones.

Greetings and good tidings to both New Horizon and my fellow commenters in the comments' section. Anyway, with the pleasantries out of the way may I say that I agree with everything said in this video up to the Five Kage summit arc. It Is of course unfortunate that I disagree with the view that Sakura is lying about her love confession to Naruto. It is also unfortunate that it seems some people seem to cherry pick this moment and that they assert that is what she is lying about her loving Naruto, rather than the fact that she no longer had feelings for Sasuke. After all, does he not of course seem to be drifting further from her and making himself a criminal in the eyes of the other nations? In addition to that, is Sakura lying about the fact that Naruto has been there standing close to her, or that he has indeed changed and matured from his little dummy self into the hero of the leaf? Anyway, I believe the answer to the first question is yes and for the second no. Which combined that with what was written about Sakura's confused feeling for Naruto in the data-books and what Sai told her. Is it honestly possible for anyone to without a doubt claim that she couldn't have found it inside herself to have indeed fallen in love with Naruto? Now true I can't get inside Sakura's head to read her non-written down thoughts since she is a female fictional character. However, having been both young and in love while also feeling insecure about myself at roughly that same time of my life. I can see why Sakura would hold fast to loving Sasuke. Especially when she is unaware that it was in fact Naruto in disguise who looked at her which made her feels something, and then complimenting her forehead in chapter 3. Of course, the fact that Sakura never learns this is a failure on Kishimoto's part, which given that it feels to this writer like a Chekhov's Gun, that was terribly written and forgotten about. Heck the fact that Kishi then writes his main character off suddenly out of the blue falling in love with his shy stalker girl Hinata instead is simply bizarre for me. Now I know having just called Hinata a stalker will get me most likely pounced on by NaruHina shippers. Most if not all of whom will be asserting that Hinata isn't a stalker; even though by definition the fact that she repeatedly followed Naruto around silently and spied on him from a distance for years is the textbook of stalker behavior. I mean really if the genders were switched, and it was a male character doing as Hinata did to a female Naruto. Everyone I am sure would indeed call said male character a stalker and perhaps even a sick and creepy puppy. However, because it is Hinata it is going to be brushed off as simply cute in some way. So yay, go double standards you are alive and well within anyone who holds such a mindset in this truly screwed up world we all live in. Anyway, getting back to the topic at hand it is my belief that Sakura's love confession was only part of any plan to simply get Naruto to go back on his promise to get Sasuke for her, but her attempt to step back and think about his own safety. After all it is by that time in the story that everyone knows or should know that the Akatsuki are out for the remaining Jinchūriki of the tailed beast. Which for anyone who has either never read the manga or watched the anime, spoilers Naruto is one of them. Trying to persuade him to think about himself by confessing her feelings to him and stopping him from attempting to find any members of the Akatsuki. Which for the record Sasuke was at the time a known member of said group and had already attempted but failed to capture the eight tails. Of course, let us all simply forget that and simply take it at Naruto's word that he knows that she is lying to him about her feelings for him and not those concerning Sasuke. {Sarcasm mode on} After all, at no point in that scene is she denying having any more feeling for their former Uchiha teammate, right? {Sarcasm mode off} Now I know someone is likely to bring up the scene in the war arc in which Sakura gets some love letter fodder and she reject it. All while saying, she loves someone else and shortly after is revealed to be Sasuke. However, that is forgetting that Naruto seemed to reject her earlier love confessing in the Land of Iron. That, and again she is unaware of the truth about who it was that looked at her and complimented her forehead. After all she still falsely believes that the boy was Sasuke and not Naruto. Which if Kishi had allowed her to know the truth then I believe he would have been forced to have Sakura's though be about the latter, rather than the former. Then again, I guess that does explain why he kept such knowledge from reaching the character of Sakura in the first place. That said, unfortunately by then Kishi bowed to the wishes of the NaruHina shippers and chosen to suggest that woman in Naruto can't move on from their first loves without being terrible person. Oh, and yes, I am certain he changed his mind about the pairings more than once given that he can't keep straight in any interviews at which time he decided on the pairing during the run of the series. After all he has said that it was at the beginning then the middle, before switching back to the beginning is a clear sign, he hadn't actually made up his mind. Now of course with said mindset I am truly in awe that he found himself a woman, who agreed to marry such a man. Especially given that she was unhappy with whom Naruto ended up with, as she wanted a NaruSaku in the end. Anyway, for the moment those are all the thoughts I can think to type out at the moment. However, if more come to me about the character of Sakura, or if someone comes back with proof of some valid reasons, I am wrong. I will be very happy and willing to debate them on said subject in the comment section.

This guy that's doing the video I think he just trying to prescribe Naruto because he watched the DVDs but he's not really reading the Japanese comic book versions of Naruto because to tell you the truth Sakura it's kind of on the dumb side Shikamaru and ino was the smartest Shinobi's in the whole Academy in fact into Japanese version in Japan Naruto was actually smarter then Sakura he just didn't have nobody to teach him the basics the comic books is much more different Zendaya cartoons on DVD they are totally different I know I read a Japanese comic books and they are great it even tells you when Naruto defeated pain a year later Naruto becomes a school instructor for three years because ino told him to in the comic books in Japan and ino Naruto had a thing going with ino until ino saw how it was affecting Hinata but this is the same time when's a writer of the cartoon wife persuaded the actual writer of Naruto switch some of their stories to something different because to be honest Sakura and Naruto in the Japanese comic book they really supposed to got together but Sakura popularity wasn't big enough and the main reason the writer wife persuaded him to switch her favorite character Falling in Love with the main character of the cartoon which is Naruto her favorite character is Hinata she thought she was so adorable so she persuaded her husband to change the story around and that is the real truth and that's how Hinata ended up with Naruto instead of Sacra because in the original story in Japan in the comic books Sakura supposed to fail out of love with Sasuke and she's supposed to fell in love with Naruto but that wife had something to do with that Turner husband to change the story this guy that's doing the video he just talkin he just prescribing what he saw on DVD first of all the DVDs is nothing like the Japanese comic books is totally different the comic book is the shit the comic book is way better than the cartoon and that's what this man is doing he just telling you what he saw on DVDs and then trying to get a reaction how people about it if you really want to know exactly why people don't like Sakura read the comic book that came from Japan and you'll see why people can't stand her

All the other females are side characters and get less development because of that. But for the time they do get, they're OK to great at least until after their brief prominence. Only actual bad female character besides Sakura is TenTen. Because I can at least give props to Ino for dropping her stupid rivalry with Sakura to save her from the Sound Genin, outplaying her in their fight and having that match wrapped up until Naruto did his thing, and the teamwork moments she gets with Shikamaru and Choji, even if they're the frontrunners in those moments.

I'll always believe Ino deserved to win that fight against Sakura, that end was so forced. Ino was also a better character in general despite having far less time to be a character than Sakura Also, Sakura was the one who decided to end her (at the time) only friendship and become rivals because they liked the same boy, Ino didnt have much of a choice. I can give you a list as to why she gets so much hate. 1. She isn’t overtly sexualized like other females in the series. She also has a strong personality rather than a passively submissive one. (Like Hinata.) 2. “ fans” can’t let go off her bitchy moment as a kid when she made careless and hurtful comments. ( every though she has grown and matures as the series progressed.) 3. They hate that she confessed her “love” for Naruto, not understanding that she had been convinced by Sai and Shikamaru into believing that his constant pursuit of Sasuke was solely her fault. So to end his suffering she did what she thought was right even if it wasn’t the best route to go. Thinking she could take care of Sasuke on her own to keep that burden off of Naruto’s shoulders. 4. They don’t like that she didn’t end up with Naruto even though he saved her multiple times through the series. ( as if him saving her entitles him to her.) 5. She is expected to meet the same power level as Naruto and Sasuke. ( which is literally impossible seeing as she is a regular girl that doesn’t come from some special clan or is granted godlike, reincarnated power.) But worked hard to improve in her own ways. ( becoming a top class support/ medic ninja and a powerhouse in her own right.) It’s quite a mixed bag. But she is definitely still my favorite female ninja in the series. But I have a soft spot for characters that start from nothing and work their hardest to make something of themselves. Flaws and all.

1: People like Temari, and she is neither overtly sexualized nor submissive. I wouldn't call Chiyo popular, but when she's brought up, she's spoken pretty well about. And again, not sexualized or submissive. Heck, one part of a filler saga aside and that one scene with Sakura's healing (you know the one), I wouldn't even call Hinata sexualized. Also, she's not liked because she's submissive. She's liked because she's always been supportive of our underdog when no one else was, and her seeing him grow from nothing pushed her to start growing, which culminated in her stepping in to try and fight Pain to save him, and giving HIM the powerful speech when Neji got killed. She's liked because she genuinely cares for Naruto AS A PERSON, has the interactions to show for it, and developed into a better person because of that love interest. 2: She made fun of an orphan for being an orphan to the orphan she was crushing on, and then when she seems to get some development near the end, realizing that she's a bitch to Naruto and opts to treat him better, she throws all that away the FIRST chance she gets because he ran away upon seeing her. Which, he had to shit for one, but also she shouldn't be surprised that the boy she bullies regularly doesn't want to be near him. All of this tells you all you need to know about her: She's bratty, she only seems to like Sasuke for his status and looks as she doesn't know the first thing about him as a person, and she's quick to be irrational over the stupidest of things. Which she hasn't grown from if that fake confession and the aftermath is anything to go off of. 3: No, that's still on her. They might've said that her promise was hurting Naruto, but they didn't tell her to do what she did. And there's no reason she couldn't have talked to him, for all the times they've been around each other, to see how he feels about Sasuke and the promise. Also why'd she need other people to tell her about the promise's effect on him? She saw him rage out upon seeing Orochimaru (because of him taking Sasuke). And next she woke up, she saw Naruto's V2 form and the damage he's been causing in that state. That alone should show how much wanting to save Sasuke was hurting him. The fact that she needs to be told this is bad enough (not understanding the first thing about her friends yet again). Trying to manipulate Naruto only makes it worse. 4: No sensible person wants her to be with Naruto. After all she's done, she doesn't deserve him. The closest thing to this is her getting hate for all the mistreatment she's done to him. 5: No one expects her to be on par with them. Maybe before they got their hax powers, but not after that. It's actually BS that her Seal just so happened to get completed in the war when they started working together again, closing the gap between her and them. And yet she can't stab a near dead, paralyzed guy in the eye to stop Madara from completing his plan.
