Some thing they do bad things but a frw others good. I actually use extremo bosy wash & wax and i know it will not protect your paint like a wax does but the shine it brings to my cars is fabulous and bare bones works great as well other than that they have a lot of things that do the same. I fell for the chemical guys trap early on. Convinced myself i was spending more on “top shelf” products. Everything was mediocre at best. There was a detail garage shop in my town, and the dudes there peddled this stuff like they thought its the best products ever.

I too, have fallen victim to CG manipulative marketing strategies. Thankfully, I managed to think outside of the box and realized what a load of BS i was carrying in my garage 🤦‍♂️

This is probably the worst foaming soap i've seen from Chemical Guys. Normally, you can't go wrong with Chemical Guys soaps

Except you can go wrong considering there are much better options out there now that the chemistry/technologies have gotten better for soaps. Shoot, dare I say cheaper too!?

@@CardosCarDose usually when I buy a chemical gas soap, I always buy it in gallon form a lot of the times I buy it when it's on sale or on Prime day where I'm not paying but like $12-20 for a whole gallon. You really can't beat that. Also that wash and wax from chemical guys That is in Walmart, 64 oz. It is a great great soap. A lot of lubrication and it foams up very well

Ah, now if we are talking discounts then yeah, seems pretty valuable considering the gallon option 🤔 Especially if your washing your car frequently or operating as a business Their core soaps are pretty solid not going to lie, its just the "noise" that surrounds it 🤦‍♂️ 20 different dam soaps that are literally the same base chemistry 🧪

Strange, because snow-foam soaps are practically the only product Chemical Guys are acually good at. I use tap water, very hard, and Mr. Pink has foamed great for me in the past.

Pink soap is pretty solid, I thought the same thing too, I don't know why it did not foam like that of its other lineup. 🤔

they made one damn product i actually liked, which was the Speed Wipe. Seemed overpriced but worked ok. What alternatives do you recommend so i dont go buying that overpriced shit again in the future?

Ahhh speed wipe, I remember that one, I actually liked it back then before it got slammed with the CG Tax after it got popular among the youth/newbies 🤦‍♂️ My go to Quick Detailer as of now is Gyeons Ceramic Detailer and CarPro Elixir. Yeah they are pricey, but the gloss and slickness is unmatched for Quick Detailers 😎👍Of course, in my subjective opinion.

I enjoy their citrus wash for the smell. I remember I grabbed the $40 CG Walmart bucket kit. My favorite product was the clear bucket. I still have that. VRP and silk shine I thought were good but then I got PERL and that was it. Did you see CG opened a tunnel wash 🤦‍♂️

Man that is the craziest thing I have ever seen. I too have used CG starting off but this is just ridiculous. I do still have a couple things that I haven't thrown in the trash that work OK in a pinch but I don't use them at all anymore.
