Great video Marshal - thanks for taking the time. I have a 2015 BX25D on 9 acres and I use the hell out of it. It’s reliable as hell and tough as a 2 dollar steak! Based on this video, and others I’ve seen, the Mahindra is a pretty sweet rig as well. If you’re looking for feedback: I’d really love to see how they all handle the revolving seat. My only complaint on the Kubota is that the rotating seat is quite a hassle. Every time I need the backhoe I have to: stop, brake, jump off, swing around the chair, climb in - use the backhoe - then to move it forward: climb off the backhoe, turn around the seat, climb back on, unlock brake, move it 4-5 feet, then go through it all again to use the backhoe. It makes for a cumbersome pain in the ass (also, I’m 6’3”). It’d be helpful to see how the Mahindra and the Kioti handle it. Thanks again.

That was long but good to know that Kubota is the one everybody copies and their 8 year older tractor was still head to head. Glad to know that they make their own engines so parts won't be a problem long into the future and my yard will be happy that they are the lightest too. I appreciate the push in the right direction and if we lived close to you I would give your place an opportunity to sell and service our new sub compact. Hopefully a little more sunny videos in your future. Dava M Illinois

I have found everybody buys a Kubota for the name. But, Kioti definitely gives you more bang for the buck! In addition, I think it's much better engineered and designed. The ergonomics of controls, and more foot room is a real plus. Kioti has made a huge dent in the market share of Kubota. And at some point I think they'll even be equal

Where are these three made? Nice comparison video. I heard what you said about the kubota being a little older and the mahindra also not being the latest model. I’d like to know where they are made and if possible an approximate price range for the three brands for these very similar models. Being that they are all very similar in size and functionality, I think price and dealer proximity would be the major determining factors. Also, since you sell all three brands can you make mention of warranties for them? Thanks.

You definitely helped me out a lot, I saw how skinny and terribly designed the Kioti BH is, man that looks like something I could build all by myself with some square tubing, and then seeing the beefiness of the Kubota back hoe compared to the Mahindra really helped me rule out a couple of brands of TLBs. I really wish you had rehearsed that before shooting it, that you had done it on a hard surface, and that you had pulled out a measuring tape for the FEL and BH. If you're curious I'm now deciding between the MF CG1720, the Kubota BX23s, and the LS MT125. I've ruled the Kioti, Mahindra, and JD out for poor quality, poor performance, and/or pricing reasons. LS is building a dalership right beside the Kubota dealer here in Southern Alberta and I cannot ignore the $23,900 CAD price tag for a brand new TLB with a 60" mower. The build quality is impeccable and the backhoe is heavier than all the others which means you'll be dragging your machine around a lot less when digging. The LS loader also has the highest lifting ability of all of the TLBs. As far as I can see the Kubota is a sweet piece of equipment, the cam-lock BH attachment system, drivers seat removable FEL, and the fender mounted FEL controls are all really nice innovations and its well built with a great motor, however, it is only upper middle of the pack (at best) in terms of overall performance... And ironically just like you would with JD, with Kubota you'll pay significantly more for the name and paint color.

All good units , where’s the deer and Massey , plus the new 80 series Kubota’s have many new upgrades , that’s and older 25D ......! I purchased a new 23S and it’s been great so far , choose the one you like no matter the colour and have fun as all of these are great units . Having a good reputable dealer nearby makes a world of difference and it could be the deciding factor of your purchase. Have fun and be safe cheers 🍻

I’ve been running backhoes, rubber tired & tracked, for over 40 years, with buckets big enough to load up any of these machines, and I still say Dealer Satisfaction, trumps everything! Personally, I don’t think I would like running any of them, without a cab, heater & air conditioning. Just had cancer removed from my face, & new batteries installed in my hearing aids! I would buy one for a toy, instead of a radio controlled one, just for fun, & frustrations. They are big enough to cost you expensive outlays, if you tear up the wrong utility! Think insurance, as part of your cost. Very interesting & informative video, thanks! Got to get in bed, skin Dr. Appointment, in the morning!👍🏻🤩💵

@@KiotiCS my start system had problems as well. A wire somewhere went bad so I added a button start under the seat. I've also gone thru 2 hydraulic cylinders for the bucket, the rod pulled out from the inner plug threads. I ordered my new replacement from northern hydraulics. The rod length is shorter but the rod has twice the diameter. My hydraulic controls had a bad mount, whomever assembled it only used 2 bolts to mount it and the crappy steel they used eventually fatigued and failed, I machined a new one from a piece of actual angle iron. I am currently machining a new mount for the drive rod that goes to the front end 4x4 system. The U mount that the flange and bearing mount to sheared off at the bottom of the U. For that I am using a pie email of box steel that I have had to grind down to accommodate for the flywheel because I have it running across to the other side. I may have to remove it and rework it if a want to mount a mower deck. While down there is noticed the the frame is cracked right by the welds that are there. All of this and it and it only has a little over 300 hours. Unfortunately the warranty is up. I'm also having a fault code of three long, three short and the dealer would take tell me what it is, only to bring good it in so they can look at it. Now I know what a junky must feel like when their drug dealer won't hook them up anymore. I just need a fix.

@@KiotiCS I looked into the backhoe, for the price I think I'm going to go with a stand alone trailer trencher of comparable size. That way I can do twice the work in half the time without resetting the system. I can have the trencher on the truck and move dirt with the bucket of the tractor. HE sells one, but I'm going with a DR or somthing made in the good ol USA,made with actual steel and not whatever crap is coming from Asia.

@@Travide it only had 30 hours on it when I got it. Warranty wasnt "transferable " according to the dealership. It's got like 200 hours on it now, and first thing to go was the mount on the hydraulics. It only had 2 bolts where there should have been 4. Right now it won't start due to a safety short somewhere. Tried to brute start with an auxiliary button and still won't start. I'm trouble shooting every wire and I've had to break down the rear end to get to the wires. It could be the solinoid but the dealer hasn't got back with a price for it. Or a new air filter, or oil filter, which needs changing for many hours now. I have a fault code of 3 long 3 short. They won't tell me what it is unless I bring it in. I feel like a crack head trying to get a fix from my "dealer". So my experience with this thing has not been good, concerning working on it. When it's running, I do get stuff done, but it's been done now longer than I've had it running. I hope this answers some questions on its viability.

Dual piston Mahindra loader has 2k lb break out force kubota 3 cylinder and cs series 3 cylinder loaders have around 1000-1.4k lbs break out force. So there is a difference. But I would agree on a tractor this size it is not necessary to have a 4 piston loader. But the 4 piston will give a slight advantage.

Kubota... the answer is always Kubota. They're the Toyota Hilux of the tractor world and they're just better made then the others.

Thanks for the comment. Pricing varies dealer to dealer. and in different areas of the country. However I can tell you all 3 of these machines will be priced in the 18,500-24,000 range depending on current promotions and financing options and estimated dealer markup.

That's because the only way to find a comparably priced Kubota is to buy an old one with high hours. The premium cost doesn't stop there. The parts are ridiculously high too.

Nice machines.... BUT, IMO, a Massey Ferguson GC1710/1720TLB is superior to all of these many ways and is probably more reasonably priced. If your in the market for a compact, do your homework, decide the best machine for your needs and DO include the Massey in your search...

Actually your comment on Kubota being the first, sorry Case was building these tractors as early as the early 70's. They didn't have 3 point hitches but other than that they are the same. If you want verification I can send you a picture of my old Case 6018, yes it is beat to hell but it works.

I didn’t hear a mention that the Kubota hydraulic lines are not exposed like the other 2 tractors. The loader and backhoe lines on the Mahindra and Kioti could easily be smashed or caught on a tree limb and broken. Whereas the Kubotas lines are ran inside the frame of the loader and backhoe.
