I think she should be considered, at least, for an Oscar nomination. Her sadness during the first half of the movie with almost no words, as well as all of her work with the prosthetics is impressive.

She deserved win definitely, but I think Academy doesn't take serious Gore Genre.

A lesser actress would have passed and to be honest I was shocked. Demi is completely fearless in this film. She deserves all the plaudits 👏

I have been confused on how the "one" concept between the two ladies. Is she (Demi) in control or conscious while being Sue? Because it seems like they're not fully aware of what the other does but they're suppose to be one. Does that mean that it's just a remnant/piece of the matrix that has a life of its own? If so, that's almost like an offspring or clone. I wish I knew that entire idea.

We spent a few hours with my parents talking about this amazing movie. My father did the same question and he said -So if they act like different people, so what is the point for Elizabeth to go through all that "torture" if she always is the oldest one ??? What's the point of generating a young clon to live the life that she wants?? Then we remembered the old guy/young nurse at the diner that ask Elizabeth and he says to her something like that "every time is harder to wait the seven days". The rule is that All are One. So for us is that: Sue and Elizabeth, are always one: Elizabeth, the matrix. With the conscience of Elizabeth, but every time they/she switches body, she has amnesia and can't remember what she did the week before. But she is always her. That'why is always written on the cards. She destroyed herself, because Sue, even having the conscience of Elizabeth knowing that her boss was a fucker, and the people there were hypocrites, she makes the same mistake again about looking for their validation, and hating her old self. And Elizabeth, being adult, could have survived if she would have cultivated hobbys, other relationships, other intrrest in her life instead of waiting for the days to pass. Her life without the spotlight, seems to lack of meaning, lack of substance!!

So, we think that unconscience and memory stay in each body, and the conscience mind /the present state of Elizabeth travels from one body to the other. The other question that we have is: how Elizabeth body survived 3 months "alive" on a row, if she was the one who was in charge /knew how to get the "food" at the lockers, to maintain the body when it was "dead" in the bathroom, if each box had food only for one week?
