Same here a result of WB owning Midway Games and doing screw all with their IPs aside from Mortal Kombat which is a shame since if WB did want to make a little more pocket money, especially with their scary levels of debt they've accumulated with several dog water business decisions thanks to that clueless CEO they've gotten since the Discovery merger. Rereleasing the Suffering games along with the other Midway games they've been hoarding for sometime now will definitely make headlines due to their long absence from the public eye let alone guaranteed to print money going for a GoG and Steam release along with doing Xbox's Backwards Compatibility program and Sony's Classics Program as the OG games released on a payed emulation type deal with some enhancements but nothing nuttier than that as a means to test the waters. Then maybe a full blown remake of the second game acting as a Director's Cut maybe doing the same with the first game before doing a 3rd entry for the Suffering franchise that's how I would do it.

Apparently there's talk that WB is selling off their game-related IPs, so there's a chance someone else picks this up and gets it re-listed on digital platforms, or passes it off to a studio like Nightdive for the remaster treatment, but still, it sucks that there are these two great action/horror hybrids that it's now much more difficult to play if you didn't already own them.
