It is our nearest star and our planet’s powerhouse, the source of the energy that drives our winds, our weather and all life.
The passage of the Sun’s fiery disc across the sky - day by day, month by month - was the only way to keep track of time for countless past civilisations.
Don’t be fooled by the terminology; although it is a typical dwarf star, the Sun consumes 600 million tons of hydrogen each second and is 500 times as massive as all the planets combined.
Discover the secrets of our star in this planetarium show and experience never-before-seen images of the Sun’s violent surface in immersive fulldome format.
Our team has worked with some of the most talented planetarium producers to bring you this visually striking planetarium show about the most important star in our lives.
We encourage the community to produce their own translations and narrations. The script and split audio files are supplied to the right. We welcome receiving copies of the translated scripts and audio files to share with the community.

The Director and the Music Composer-Sound Designer are Greeks indeed. Also all the lands you see are from Zagorohoria. How come there are so many Greeks? Maybe because we know how to do Art. Not "connections". Fortunately we succeeded out of this country. We are citizens of the world. Thank you for your kind words.

I am merely a layman struggling in this particular corner of the world but I had a spirited interest in physics, cosmology and especially astronomy since I was a child. I have also studied sound engineering in the past (but i failed to do it professionally), so this video hits all the right spots in me. The other thing that is misleading that people get wrong because its an Earth centric point of view is the actual color of the sun. If you were in space and could look at the sun without fucking up your eyes, it would appear white. Its not fucking orange or yellow. It is closer to white than yellow or orange. The ONLY reason people get this idea that it's yellow or orange is due to the Earth's atmosphere. When seeing a sunset the color of the sun appears reddish orange but it's actually white. So making these graphics to show the sun continue to push the notion that it's yellow or orange. Why fucking do that? It makes no sense. If you are trying to educate people on the sun why not explain this?
