These are the best lessons that I've found on KZbin. Thanks!!!!

I love this scale it’s almost every note. When you first see it you’re like how can I go wrong!? If only it were that easy right. 😊

Excellent! You make things very clear. Thank you for creating and sharing.

From watching this now I know why you can place a passing note between any notes in the pentatonic scale which are 2 frets apart and you're playing the super blues scale. Thanks Rob for another excellent video.

You're the best guitar tutor! Crisp, clear and comprehensive teaching with apt visuals too!

I remember listening to chuck berry and hearing these chromatic notes. So I researched and found a scale known as blues #3 which is the same super blues scale you showed us. Glad to see someone else has worked it out.

Please don't ever stop what you are doing. I have played guitar alot longer than my skill level should be. These lessons are among the best I've encountered on KZbin. Just purchased your 5 levels of Pentatonic scale lesson. This is incredibly well explained stuff. You should have 3x the amount of subscribers.

That's super cool! I've been binge-watching your videos to get more of a grip on some fancier sounds than regular diatonic stuff, and this delivers 'outside' sounds in spades while giving the 'safe haven' of a basic pentatonic shape to return to when stuff gets a little too weird :-)

This chap really knows his stuff and also how to teach it. Best teacher I have found on youtube. I now even understand Modes from watching QJamTracks. I just wish I could make them sound good ! ;-)

Holy cow! Just saw your backing track for "Diminished 7 Chords". Love how you gave so many great diagrams and ideas with that video. I also really love what you've done in this one... I never thought to combine these scales in one shape! What an incredible teaching style! I can't wait to watch the rest of your stuff, thanks for making such useful videos!

Thank you Rob - brilliant stuff as usual. I always liked that run up that Alex Lifeson played in the guitar solo to 2112 overture where he kind of filled in the notes in the body of the minor pentatonic. Now I know where that chromaticism was coming from! 😊

You should check out Jim Oblon's "I wanna be loved" album, came out last year. Some of the most insane ridiculous blues licks I've ever heard, and all of it has some of this goin on, dude highlights chord changes in the most insane way.

Is the guitar a possible replacement for the sound and feel of a fender in the same price range? Sounds like a great. Rock, Metal, funk and pop guitar, right?
@QJamTracks Жыл бұрын
Exactly. But not really a replacement, but more like an addition for other styles of music.
@RonSnijders Жыл бұрын
Some time ago, I borrowed an AZ2204 from a friend for a few months. It's a beast of a guitar, but definitely a very different vibe to a regular old Strat. Much more modern sounding, for lack of a better word.
@Dr_Bounty_guitar Жыл бұрын
@@RonSnijders I have an az2204. It’s a great guitar but two humbuckers (splittable). Still not the strat feeling… I think I have to buy a fender too… but the blue AZ from the video seems to be the perfect Allrounder
