And here I've been opening plastic packages with a large scissor like a neanderthal instead of being more of a sophisticated caveman and using powertools. Brilliant idea.

Are those blower carbs? I just found this vid, if they arent you need carburetors with boost referenced power valves. Those Edelbrocks probably wont cut it. Also give it more accelerator pump for that initial tip in, and get an MSD BTM box to pull timing with boost easily.
@RightTurnRandy4 ай бұрын
@@thesquirrel914 Edelbrock AVS2's, 600 CFM each, no power valves. They don't need to be boost referenced. Timing is locked out @38, don't need a box. The lean spot can be tuned out with the air valve secondaries, that's what they were designed for. I just haven't gotten around to it since it's not a major concern for me. And it's a lot of trial and error to get them dialed in.

Randy, what ratio are you running on the blower? Top Pulley teeth = ? Bottom pulley teeth = ?. I just picked up my blower and I want to get some feedback on amount over\under drive on your small block.
@RightTurnRandy Жыл бұрын
I swore I replied to this, maybe it didn't go through... 🤔 Top pulley is 38 Bottom pulley is 34 11% underdrive
@thesquirrel9144 ай бұрын
@@RightTurnRandy That's good. Keep it under driven for now until you start to get it safely tuned. Then turn it up. Remember, with a blower, pully isn't always the solution, blowers love timing. See if you can get where you want without pully.

Not sure why this showed up on my you tube homepage and why I actually watched part of it, lol. Seriously dude about your safety. Please either put a helmet on or pad the crap out of the rollcage bar next to your head. Some car bumps into you, you could end up with life changing head injury bouncing your noggin off the cage... The cage makes for a really dangerous addition compared to a regular car in a minor fender bender accident on the street. That said, looks like you're having a blast and was kinda entertaining to watch. Keep it up (and be safe).
@RightTurnRandy2 жыл бұрын
I appreciate your concern, thanks. YT pushed my video out to thousands of people yesterday. It was actually pretty fun to watch the numbers go crazy. My head isn't as close as it looks to the bar, but you're right. This car is dangerous in a lot of ways, but that's just part and parcel to this kind of thing. I do wear a helmet in competition, and I have a full firesuit being delivered today. Thank you for watching, I'm glad you found it entertaining, and that you cared enough to take the time to comment, that means a lot.
