Ira Tucker Wow, that’s great, in fact my good friend and I were in competition to see who could get the record first? That’s when we became disappointed with Motown management. Now, we both were young, about 13/14. There was very little airplay, and promotion of this record was like nonexistent? This was important to the millions of Supreme fans since they were nearing the end of this run? Thank you for sharing your connection...stay safe and be well. Alex from LA

@@alexanderirizarry-camarill6277 I was 16 when browsing through the TV Guide that night The Supremes were going to be a someone's tv special. All I can remember about the star is he was a legend and the show was very popular. I brought the 45 the next day every house I played it the people loved it. It should had been a hit. I was jamming it on a a very elite Magnavox console with 12" woofers and asked me "is that Stevie Wonder? I said "yes in a way he's the producer"

@@aaronharris6921 Happy New Year I was a baby when this song was released and the 1st time I heard was when I was an adult and I was blown way with the group's harmonies and the production. Motown should have promoted this song especially since Stevie Wonder had produced it. Even Stevie was pissed at the label for not promoting this song. I have a feeling that when he renegoitated his contract he probably made sure that Motown would promote songs he wrote and produced for his label mates.

The fact that Jean Terrell was the Ultimate Supreme in Voice style and security..she shared the.Leada with the other members. That being said. I recently began listening to the other singers Lyndia Lawerance, Susanne Greene and I'm blown away. These Singers had more talent in that group than all of the World. It's a shame that now time has fled...that there would be no true recognition for their exporsure of underdeveloped talent(s). Well, at lest we do have the music and videos that they made.
