Diana Ross had the voice and talent. All songs do not require ball park range. Diana could get the job done by simply singing and conveying the meanings of her songs. Look where it has taken her? Florence Ballard showing everyone how beautiful that voice of hers was! Thank God for these live version video clips. On the vinyl version they also lowered the background vocals and raised Diana's voice up. In the live versions Flo can be heard prominently. She had a really natural alluring sound that your ear wants to hear more of.

So true, despite the great lead from Diana, all i focus on is Flo, it was shocking the way she was treated -deserved so much better - at least we have these recordings to watch - her smile shines through

Wow! Florence so easily took that last note all the way to the moon! This is real music, with musicians playing real instruments flawlessly and real singers who are gifted to sing. I feel sorry for young people today. They don't know what real music sounds like nor how to achieve it.
