The puzzle looks nicely made, although it seems like it should be pretty easy with the box photo as a reference. Also, having the user do the disassembly makes the assembly easier, as the user can remember the order of the pieces. Give the disassembled pieces to someone without the box for reference, and I think it would be a more difficult puzzle.

The puzzle appears easily soluble via trial and error, but is deceptive in appearance. The use of thread alignment as the trick is uncommon, based upon my memory of Mr. Puzzle solved puzzles. Intriguing!

I dislike those kinds of puzzles where it is hard to grasp the parts that need to be turned since it makes my hands hurt, so I made a wooden stake I can stick in the middle of those parts and easily turn them like it is a knob attached.

The box is a valid clue, otherwise the designer would distort the picture.
