When my daughter came out of her hospital visit (few weeks), she felt like lead and found going back to work very hard. (She loves working usually). So I bought some multivitamins and told her to take two every morning. Within 10 minutes she came to life, as if the vitamins improved her cognitive function greatly and better conversation interaction. @@rebeccaa2097 Vitamin Bs work immediately and I chose a tablet with the highest folic acid as a research paper stated that it has positive results for people with schizophrenia. One of the negative behaviours I have observed with this illness is the self neglect and total disregard for eating which vitamins can only help with this. But fortunately with the medication it kicks up appetite, so she does eat more often but does not like to prepare good food. She hates cooking.
