She's one of my favorite singers of all time, second only to Aretha...barely. Look up her live album "Natalie Live" from 1978. It's one of the best live albums of ALL TIME. This woman sang her face off, perfectly for over 2 hours.

She was genuinely brilliant, elegant, with an air of warm mystery a lot of the time. Drugs are a curse, she should still be around and making music.

How was she only worth $5,000,000? The "Unforgettable" album had to have sold gazillion dollars!

She was my first celebrity in first class when I was a new flight attendant. She was even more stunning irl. Sadly she was one of those stars who wouldn’t acknowledge you. Some celebrities, sit at the window, not making eye contact & will only communicate to the crew through their assistant (you kind of get used to it) The only problem is her assistant who started out all charming & professional got sh*t faced drunk on the five hour flight from JFK-LAX. She was ordering wine for both of them but I think she was drinking all of it. She got all loud & was talking to passenger across the aisle, laughing at her own jokes. It was kind of funny. She eventually passed out forcing Ms Cole with no choice but to acknowledge us for the remainder of the flight. I always wondered if she was some sort of family member that was on the payroll as she had a similar appearance to Ms Cole & they were both very tall.

Great singer. If not for the drugs even greater. Who cares about rolling stone, she is a top 20 in my book. Go look at some of her live performances in the 70's. Some of the best ever.

When she died, there wasn’t even much said about her passing in the media. So sad. She had such beautiful eyes. “Mr. Melody,” “I’ve Got Love On My Mind,” “Annie Mae,” are some of my favorite songs from Natalie Cole.

I remember getting into the hotel that she was staying at during the Cincinnati Jazz Festival when I was 16. My friend and I knocked on her door, she came out and was so nice. I wished I had a camera to save an amazing memory. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

The fact remains Drugs killed her in the end , her father would of turned in his grave knowing she took drugs , she is now at peace with a life cut short
@xavierminchello8431Күн бұрын
LIFE IS NEVER CUT SHORT BECAUSE ALL LIFE IS ETERNAL. OUR TIME HERE ON EARTH IS JUST A SCHOOL. HERE ONE DAY AND GONE THE NEXT AFTER WE ARE DONE! IT WAS HER TIME TO LEAVE AND MOVE FORWARD TO HER NEXT ROLE IN LIFE! THERE ARE NO GOODBYES. I LEARNED THIS FROM OTHERS WHO HAVE LEFT THIS LIFE.
