"VERY" is a advanced word! In fact, according to Camrbidge, it's C2 level vocabulary.
Yes, it's also an A1 level word when used as an adverb, but it's quite common to use it as adjective and you need to know how. In this very video, I explain the meanings and uses of this versatile A1, B2 and C2 level word.

Hello Ben! You are one of the best English teachers I've ever seen on KZbin and I would like to ask you a question. I am currently sitting for a B2 English Exam (ECCE, a test developed by the University of Michigan and from Cambridge) but I believe that I am currently at the C1 level because I get good scores on the test and I use the language every single day. How much time will it take to prepare for the Cambridge Proficiency Exam? I also want to thank you very much for your amazing content!

I just got my results for the CAE C1 exam and I got 199 points , should I contest the results? The speaking was rated kinda low in my opinion ( at 195 ). How does it go with the contestations , on the cambridge site it says you could get a lower grade or there is no change at all but i think in the speaking part of the exam is much more interpretable.

I was surprised when you said that the usage of very as an adjective for emphasis is from the c2 level . I always hear it while watching Manchester City matches .When Haaland pocked in the box ,and out of nowhere, he scores ! Commentators say :"He scored his first goal from the very first touch ! One touch one goal !"
