Among Us VR: Code 985 Update A new gamemode has been added, called "Secret Streamer" where 20 Viewers (crewmates) try to find out which one of them is the Secret Streamer (impostor). Only colors are displayed during voting time, except for the streamer, who can never see colors or names, and you can only use emotes to communicate with the in-game text chat. Tasks are now located on computer terminals around the map and each requires you to laugh on que while watching the beloved streamer Jermy963. Failing to do so will disable the terminal and the lights in the area around you for a short time. Viewers win by ejecting the streamer or successfully watching all the required Jermy963 streams. The Secret Streamer wins when there are no viewers left on the ship. The Secret Streamer has a unique way of killing and 3 different abilities replacing the Sabotage mechanic: To kill a viewer, the Secret Streamer has to either hack into a Jermy963 stream and perform a series of short tasks until the Clown Meter is full, which then kills the viewers watching it, or they can pick up a banned viewer and put them in the Grinder located in the center of the map. Viewers that are watching a Jermy963 stream can notice signs of it being hacked and leave the stream before they are killed. The Grinder method is a lot less reliable, as it both requires the use of the "Fondle" ability, as well as catching up to the banned viewer(s). An upside of the Grinder is that it only leaves a fingerbone instead of a full body, which can't be reported directly. Ability 1 - "Scorn" - Activate during voting time to put a red pulsating mass on the voting screen. If viewers stare at it for more than 2 seconds, they start to laugh and one of them violently explodes. Goes away after 10-20 seconds. Recharges after 3 kills. Ability 2 - "Fondle" - Activate to shove an entire baseball up your yoinky sploinky, causing up to 9 nearby viewers to get banned for 10 minutes. If a viewer is banned, they can still move around and appear alive, but cannot talk, do tasks, vote, and their hands are hidden. One-time use. Gives a -10% speed debuff for the duration of the ban. Ability 3 - "Thanksgiving" - Activate to devour a body, removing all evidence of a murder. Be careful though! Devouring more than 1 will slowly increase the size of your dumptruck, making it obvious you're the Secret Streamer. After devouring more than 4 bodies, walking will start to make a loud clapping sound. Needs to charge up for 20 seconds after a kill. The devs also made it so that the Sus Guy will be the Secret Streamer 90% of the time, so if you're ever in a lobby with him, chances are he's the streamer.

What a funny fuckin stream this was. I never really understood why people watch so many streamers play the game, especially with strangers, because so often it would devolve into actual anger. At least what little I could stomach watching. But it was good fun seeing Vinny play the version in VR Chat, so that opened me up to it. and having Jerma, Vinny, Criken, and all of the dozen other guys playing this time around was fantastic. Possibly one of the best streams in general, to me personally, in a while. I still wouldn't play it myself, but if I somehow had a group of good friends I'd consider it, even though I'm nowhere near as funny. Again, amazing stream from everyone here.

This is the best Jerma stream I watched in a while and I finally got to see it live! He was absolutely memeing and hamming it up, but at the same time... I feel like he was kind of serious about it? Many times I was wondering if he was just commiting to a bit or if he actually believed someone was dangerous?? Regardless, it was the most entertaining Among Us-ing I've seen in a long ass time and it seemed like he had a lot of fun! Jerma is a cartoon character of a man. Truly a meme king. AND THE SUS GUY!
