Not sure where you went to school but every school has a year plan laid out for every class, they get it from the goverment. The teachers need to follow those guidelines and teach the kids what they need to know. You can't really diviate from these guidelines. They use these so the kids get the right education and the total package. Grammar, spelling, vocab, reading, listening, speaking and culture. Each of these aspects go into detail. Your comment just shows ignorance.

@@jamestown8398 To be fair he`d be a helicopter parent which sounds horrible. I actually have a theory about why that is though. I think that 1. Since people have fewer kids they are seen as more valuable. There is a bigger emotional, financial and any kind of other investment in those kids. 2. People back in the day used to go to church, or go drinking and playing cards with their neighbors since few of them had TVs and there was no internet. People knew their locals communities and neighbors better and so they trusted leaving their kids alone outside more.

There’s a part that wants to let your child encounter challenges and dangers so that they can overcome them with the full trust and respect in their own self worth. And the protective and nurturing side that will do anything to make sure that they will be healthy and ready to experience life in its fullest, mixed in with constant self doubt and anxiety about doing your best for them. What a beautiful portrait of the fatherly experience. Amazing.

@Hibernicus1968
@Hibernicus1968 Жыл бұрын
It's hilarious, and it fits with Ron Swanson's personality, but I wouldn't have one in real life. The channel "Armed Attorneys," which covers legal issues related to firearm use in self-defense, where they recommend against having that sign, or similar ones (e.g. "These Premises Guarded by Smith & Wesson," or "Forget the Dog, Beware of Owner," et al.). Basically, if you end up getting charged after using your gun in self-defense, and you have such a sign, it is almost certain that the prosecutor in your case will use it to portray you to the jury as a trigger-happy, Rambo-wannabe who was quick to use deadly force when it might not have really been necessary. Signs like that may be amusing, but how do you think they look to Suzy Soccermom, who doesn't know the first thing about firearms and might even dislike them, as she sits there on your jury, weighing the evidence against you? Another issue with such signs (which I don't believe the Armed Attorneys mentioned) is that such signs let burglars -- who usually are careful to break in while you are away -- know that you have guns on the premises they might like to steal.
