So far I've stuck with the distortion of my Orange Rockerverb, but I bought a Tc electronic eyemaster a while ago. The lack of lowend is a bit confusing but I like it generally. I also plan to buy a ehx big muff deluxe with the mids knob, I imagine a big muff with more mids could sound huge.
@ThrashingBasskill4 жыл бұрын
I'm using the auditory heavy pedal plugin BUT my distortion is only at 25% with the HM-2 and on my amp plugins I usually also only dial in 25% gain in the high gain channel. I know, blasphemy but whatever. It still sounds brutal but same as with your grindstein, it is way better to controll, especially with palm mutes. Throw in a boost pedal and it's even tighter.

Airis effects Hm2 parallel eq is an amazing pedal as a boost for any amp distortion. The blend knob on it gives you as little or as much chainsaw as you need, blended with your amp distortion you can can come up with a relatively original chainsaw tone that has clarity and note definition. The sound is one thing but usability for different tones is key. Definitely interested in the Grindstein vs hm2 parallel eq.
