@@MegaDeath22 I also don’t think people realize that she lived through a terrorist attack she blamed herself for and lost over fans who were children ands;ent months growing close to the families creating a connection that made their loss that much harder to process. The fact she did anything after was actually to much for anyone. In one year she released 2 albums and a 70 stop world tour. She did not complain 1 time publicly over any of it. And the art still arted. She’s a once in a generation artist.

sweetener stan here, as Ari said that this album is about "bringing light to someone’s life," it actually brought light to my life. and in my opinion, this album is really also about healing. i know it healed a lot of people, including me. i love pharrel’s awesome work on it... even though so many people claimed that he ruined the album (not true). so yeah, forever grateful to Ari ♡

Definitely her most experimental and artistic album I would say. Its very cohesive and my favorite by far from her. Pharell just really made this sooo unique & it is the only ariana album for me where I would say no one else could have released this but her. It just suits her perfectly and I hope she will work with Pharell again. And the era was amazing like I miss it so much. I think the metgala was also a very important moment of it

this is such an important album for me as someone from manchester who was there. i felt like i was getting to heal alongside ariana. it was really hard seeing the era get bashed when to me it was so obvious that this was her trying to make something truly fun and polished and experimental. it hurts to listen to sometimes, especially get well soon, but it's just such a crucial album and era for me

I’ll never forget Sweetener coming out and the fan reception being negative while the critical reception was positive. Then after it won Ariana her first Grammy, all of a sudden, lot of Ari fans were doing revisionist history on the album as if everyone loved the album from the jump 😅 this album aged well. Positions if still my favourite though. Safety Net is that song!!!

i feel like people dont take into account how serious and utterly life altering manchester + mac no longer being with us is. like it felt like she was allowed a few months to be sad and then it totally got glossed over. don't get me wrong i'm glad those didn't become bigger topics than the music itself but people should be more considerate when it comes to her actual metal health. like that is stuff that sticks with you forever.

positions is my fav album for sure but sweetener will always hold a special place in my heart, i had always listened to ariana songs here and there but sweetener is when i fell in LOVE with her. her best era by far. i never understood when fans didn’t like it at first, i was so obsessed and i would watch reaction videos to see people who loved it as much as i did but nobody really did lol. i’m glad to see it grew on people though.💞

thank u, next was ALWAYS my favorite until recently. I had trouble choosing which one was better but after some thought I think Sweetener was better. Sweetener is her most experimental and unique album and it aged VERY well. It was also her best comeback, with no tears left to cry, one of her best songs ever. thank u, next always has a soft spot in my heart as it was my #1 album from her since 2019 but even if you put those albums side by side, sweetener has the better songs. A lot of the songs on there are her very best.

I remember the Sweetener era like it was yesterday. As an Arianator since Victorious I was so excited when this era started as I knew it was going to resonate with me on a soul level. I could just feel it. The hold that GIAW and get well soon had on me was insane!! Sweetener was such a healing and fun album for me. If I could I would go back to relive this era all over again!

This was my favorite album from the first listen, so many bangers and I appreciated Pharrell’s contributions like blazed is so underrated and I don’t hate the light is coming and I enjoy all the other songs he helped produce. And everything about this era the styling and the visuals was just insane. Definitely was so dedicated to the visuals here like no other album.

have you heard the sweetener outtakes/demos and what the album was gonna sound like before the Manchester event? she had it finished before then and then scrapped it and changed the direction of sweetner! the only ones that made it were tlic, sweetener, r.e.m (I think) and blazed. my fave from the outtakes are my way and you.
