Well, for this game mode in particular, it may not be a bad idea, if you know what you're doing. Takes more time to angle your car further up, than to just boost at an angle. So you can be alroght with say, a 70 degree angle, instead of a 90 degree one, stand under where the ball is gonna go. But in any and all cases, staying to the side of the goal near the backboard is more productive.

If you want the actual meta it is 1 goalie with 2 players forward going for demos + redirects. So in the chocolate boiks case they would just need to direct the hounds after the opponents rather than the ball
