Chadd, one of the other things that I have noticed being the age of 60 is that nobody gets together anymore, nobody hangs out as a friend group anymore due to technology even in my age group. No one talks to their neighbors. No one does things together anymore. I live in a very small town in the Midwest. And this horrifies me. How can we form any type of squad or team when no one is around that, you can trust in this day and age? We're all alone whether it's in a city or small town thanks to tech.

We’ve got a nice mixture of ages and backgrounds in my lil neighborhood. My social group still gets together and chats - but I noticed 1/2 the friends at a recent gathering were chatting while the other 1/2 played with their phones….eek. Other sources might include church groups as well as hobby clubs (i.e,. garden and gun). Good luck!

My priorities for surviving. 1. Being able to breathe. 2. Having drinking water. 3. Have nutritional food. 4. Having the appropriate clothing for whatever environment I’m in. 5. Safe shelter. 6. Tools. Everything else is lagniappe. Country boys can survive! But the most important thing I know is that on the day I die I KNOW where I’m gonna go, me and Jesus got that part worked out.

@@freebird1ificationOne thing I like to add to the comment thread to these prepper videos. I occasionally run into these jack legs who have clearly watched too many episodes of “The Walking Dead” that think they are going to go around and steal other peoples shit that they have spent years and countless amounts of dollars stockpiling. What I am about to say I will gladly say to anyones face if they want to meet up somewhere to talk about it man to man. No keyboard commando here. I say what I mean and I mean what I say. I personally live in a secluded subdivision in a rural location with access only by a private gravel road with only one way in or out by conventional means. I hate thieves during normal peaceful times anyway but in a SHTF scenario thievery becomes what is known as marauding. I am the only veteran (Army) in my neighborhood and I am developing a plan with my neighbors should something go down. Part of our plan is dealing with marauding. In our plan, marauding is elevated to a crime equal to being a chomo or someone who gets off abusing the elderly or animals. Here’s the important part. If you are caught by us, the BEST you can hope for is an instantaneous deletion, but most likely it will be much, much worse. They will be made an example out of. Although I can’t speak intelligently about what other innocent people are planning for themselves but I am sure there are many others out there like me that would take the issue of marauding as seriously as we do. So they better not even think about it.

Thankfully my grandparents and parents taught me and my husband how to garden, can, freeze food. My husband was also taught how to hunt and fish and know how to preserve these foods too. We have been doing all this for the last 36 years of our marriage but doing it for more than 60 years in our prior families. Now we are trying to pass this knowledge on to our children and grandchildren- some want to learn and others could care less...my fathers' parents got married in 1930 and started their marriage in a one room cabin in NH with no running water, no indoor plumbing and a woodstove for cooking and heat. My dad and aunt were born in that cabin and she taught me how to take a chicken/roast and make it last all week in various ways. I thank God for them every day with everything that is happening today.

A little terrain appreciation, a good walk and fresh air. OH ! as for the other ... well born in '48... in the PNW, hunting fishing and camping was normal everyday life as a kid, turning wrenches was the same. Learning to shoot was a given because it was just a part of life, same with a garden. Joined the military and learned leadership skills from day one and served in combat and retired after 30 years. Technically and tactically proficient. Following the principles and traits of leadership. Good moral is important. I believe you work to live... you don't live to work. Life is short and unpredictable. So you need to enjoy it at every opportunity. Retire as early as possible and enjoy your grandchildren and or your hobbies and overall life. You will live a longer and healthier and happier life. Don't be a doomsday warrior. Remember that you are the company you keep. Looking forward to hearing part three. Take a kid fishing ! Biggest joy you will ever have... well one of many.

That’s high nutrition, high calorie and long storage (potatoes, winter squashes, carrots). I need to “up” my house security next. I’ve taken some protection classes (one with retired military). Another great video. For the past six years my wife and I have been living completely off grid on fifty acres in an area with few people (we don't see people unless we leave the property), got our energy needs met through solar, got a root cellar dug, freeze dried and stored a ton of food, and next we'll get our water system set up. Yet I still feel the anxiety. The change that is coming is going to be catastrophic and won't be limited to the cities. Cities will be a nightmare, but easily controlled. Our puppet government will then go for the food producers in the rural areas (farmland, less so small garden operations). But they will dedicate resources to going after those of us trying to detach from the system. But if you do not own land outright and the tools and skills to provide your basic needs, you won't even make it to that point. Get out of the cities, get out of debt, learn to pressure can and freeze dry, learn to grow food, provide for yourself. It still won't be a happy ending, but there will be a chance to live relatively free. Those without those things and skills will have zero chance.

It's amazing how there are so many "influencers" out here that are constantly warning about the coming collapse, yet all they say is "get a firearm!!". If you only have a firearm, you are way behind the power curve. In reality, a firearm only plays a minor role in the larger scheme of actual survival. Glad to see people like you Chad, that are focusing on all the other essentials.

Have you been reading my diary?! Maui recently went through a horrific fire and government response was abysmal. An client told me that his take away was that if anything impacting the whole island (hurricane, tidal wave, etc) happens here, he and his family are on their own - there is no reliable help coming from anywhere. And honestly, it makes sense to adopt that attitude. If you live by the idea that "No one is coming, it's up to us" you actually prepare and may get through it without much trouble.

Amen Brother! Preps, skills and all that definitely is a must. Most importantly, remember, this battle has been won already, what comes is coming, no matter what we do here to prepare. We are not to fear! We have an undieing soul and they can't take that. This earthly battle has been won. We must keep our eyes, first and foremost, on our creator and our savior, for every knee will bend at his presence. Be happy today, be encouraged to keep your faith today brothers and sisters dear! The battle is won! Tell someone you love, that you love them today! Do something selfless. God Bless everyone reading this today!! 🙏
@jamesbecker342011 ай бұрын
If as you say, that the battle has already been "won", by the opposing forces I assume, then why prep for anything? Just enjoy what time we have left and when the end comes, it comes. Just accept that you are already dead....
@gods_soldier97111 ай бұрын
@jamesbecker3420 To a certain degree, yes. The battle I'm referring to is God sending his only son to die for us, evil will never provail. However enjoying life and being prepared as possible is something I practice. Letting the rest roll off and love life. Keep it simple and put my life in God's hands.

Hey Chad/chilli! First and foremost, know the enemy and those killing and sabotaging you! U r pretty damn hard Chad, but not nearly hard/intelligent enough to say the truth about the USA and the entirety of western civilization that has been completely, totally, and utterly hijacked by Talmudic Jew Zionists that oppose Christian values with every ounce of their being and want us dead, evident in their ongoing white genocide and multi pronged attack ….this is the single most important bit of knowledge you could share with your followers, yet you don’t do this which makes you a half truth spouting fraudster….buy a hat keep chili in the dungeon haha ….save it kook! Once you grow the set/intellect necessary to voice the vital truth, then focus on these other important survival tips or you/we will be lost in terms of why we r in the predicament we’re in…Jesus warned us about the synagogue of satan and past civilization after civilization were aware of them, yet westerners are brainwashed by the very group that is putting us in the dire situation…someone tell me I’m wrong please and elaborate as to how so

I've got all those skills, but I've never been in the military. Worked with plenty of military folks, though. I can fix a motor, poultry Sci, Ag, and tech. They things we learned from our parents and grandparents prepared us for life. Gen X and older melenials seem to have a lot of this, but it is clear that much of it has been lost on later generations. Thank God for youtube channels that teach many of these skills!

Yes to all that Even though some know how to grow a garden have chickens and other but it takes true skills and the weather and soil and seeds have to all work together it’s not as easy as I stick seeds in the ground You are right about working together forming a team unfortunately not going to to happen at first since people are more used to depend on hand outs or steal than help each other I am very much in belief we have to defend ourselves against our neighbors first hopefully it will not be too late to work together

Knowledge is priceless and those that have it will have to become teachers if many are to survive. We've been growing and raising 90% of our food for over 30 yrs. We have focused on becoming producers where the majority are consumers. Thanks for sharing and trying to wake people up, sadly we have family that are stiff necked, and it soon will be to late for them.

This is an invaluable lesson. The way I see it is I fight my lane like on a firing range. I ignore some of the craziness going on around me while focusing and buttressing my own defenses with added capability around me. Having a property survey done this week to update it with my new fence on it. Added cellular cams and Posted signs as well. My new home went from "vacant land," "state land," "county land," and the other guys land in the eyes of some neighbors to mine in about three years of hard work. Now the land pirates leave me alone. Competence, vigilance and determination is all that is needed. And being right as well.

when we had our new property surveyed, we had the guys add in extra stakes every 50 ft so we would know exactly where our line was.

@@tennesseeterri good idea. I bought a stake outby the surveyor after moving in then the the adjacent property sold to a couple who work from home all day and decided they liked part of our property. Of course those stakes I paid for disappeared. Now we have a fence that will make it hard
