Anything to do with the sliding door Rail is a pain. It's so hard to get in line and make sure the door works. Keep up the great work.

Greetings from Finland ! Having covid-19 quarantine time ( not sick) and watched all video parts just for getting some information what is waiting for me. VW T3 camper "kapo" model ( Made in Finland ) which is waiting for restoration, now on everyday use but needs a lot welding and new paint Job. I have done one restoration in my life Lada 2101 1987, when i started the project i was smiling and at the end of the project, many bad words between these smiles. Keep going, good and hard work will be paid with insane happiness when u got there ! Im watching you !

Thank you. A more sensible person probably would have scrapped it, but where's the fun in that 😁

It would be hard to argue I hate it now as there hasn't been a day since where there isn't a T25 or 4 off them waiting for me to get things done out there. Follow the Instagram page for more regular stuff if your interested

I’ve watched every video so far and it’s giving me the confidence to maybe give this ago myself, you have done a really good job it looks great! What welder are you using? I have a welder that cost about 250quid and I don’t think it will be powerful enough, what would you recommend to get a good weld?
@TheTinski074 жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you. I am using a draper 210. I wouldnt really recommend it. The power is not the issue for welding on stuff this light but a good wire feed is important. For a nice weld and for your temper. Most of the welding is on a low to med power setting and in short bursts. Little to no continuous welds on stuff this light. I'm not an expert on welding so can't tell you the ins and outs. Just make sure they penetrate and are strong. The grinder will make them pretty. Also I use fluxed wire not gas for cost and supply reasons

WestCorkRestorations That’s good to know I will keep that in mind. Saves me from going out and getting a welder I don’t need. Thanks for your help
