What makes this so different from other versions of Sonic meeting tails, it gives us more of a perspective of how it felt like in the moment, like how much Sonic is questioning what’s he going to do with tails, how tails is still so afraid of what’s around him, and how even someone like Sonic can still emphasize with tails. (Like for example, and I think this was what was happening) Sonic see’s himself in tails, he too was once that lonely kid with no family, no friends, no home, but unlike Sonic, tails was so scared, so afraid, because all around him no one treated him well, while Sonic had the fortune at least, but that doesn’t stop Sonic to go out of his way to comfort tails, the way he wanted to, when he was tails age. And (I love this) you see Sonic struggling what to do, and of course he will make mistakes, but in the end he’s trying, because he truly cares for tails, even if they barely meet, sonic can see how special tails is, in a way, tails is like sonic, when he was younger, and sonic is going out of his way to make sure tails will be treated with love and care, something that sonic probably barely receive, when he was young. All and all this episode was beautiful, amazing, incredible, and shows us a beautiful brotherhood of two similar characters. Great job tailsfan109!

All of that explanation is 100% true to the story of Sonic and Tails. I’ve watched all the Sonic cartoons and played most of the games and my favorite is Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. In that show, it’s just Sonic and Tails together in their adventures in a true friendship unlike any other. I wish to be in that world even as just a random Mobian in an unknown town being tormented by Robotnik Scratch and Grounder and maybe I would at least catch a glimpse of Sonic and Tails at that time in my life.

This part was incredible, I got worried for Tails once he looked like he was at Death's door when he was about to starve to death. And when Tails explained his nightmare to Sonic and seeing him cry with him almost made tears come down my face. This is such an emotional roller coaster! The pain, the tenderness, the heartache! I just want to hold them both! When Sonic said last episode that he recognized the loneliness and pain on Tails’ face, and again after the nightmare, it feels like Sonic also has a hard childhood. I love the idea of Tails being a young orphan raised by Sonic. Similar to what they did in the old western cartoon but you executed it way better with more heart and emotion as well as Tails being just a baby and being realistically delicate with his emotions. I'd love to see other struggles these two go through. One of the tropes I like in adoptive scenarios or even new first time families is the child getting sick for the first time and the parent or sibling panicking but also learning what to do in situations like this. Can make for a sweet heartwarming moments so I hope someday you consider this idea for a short or even a plot for another episode of this. The one where he got hurt was cute enough, but kids are also super clingy and vulnerable if they get sick for the first time or just don't feel well. I'd love to see your take on that kind of thing someday. Plus fluffy caretaking between siblings is always wholesome

And following by Tails' happy cries, and when Sonic then said "I love you, little bro..."... OMG, THE TEARS ARE FREAKING REAL! 😭😭 I'm telling ya, you would make an amazing movie director or writer, 'cause your work can make anyone cry like a baby!
